I wonder if perhaps the reason why their relationship is breaking was because Arsinoe burnt that magic thing she did with Jules mother? Remember how she wanted to make sure Jules lived happily with Joseph but then Arsinoe felt like it was wrong and destroyed instead

Yes, it could be that she burned it and now bad things are happening. But Joseph did wrong too. He's not a child. Idiot. Idk, I just hate him now!
But yes, maybe it's because she burnt it. If she didn't, maybe Joseph was still madly in love with Jules. It seems like whosoever he's with, he feels in love with that one at the time.
When he's with Jules, he's with her, and when he finds himself with Mirabella, he forgets Jules.

Haha he needs some good slaps for throwing her down there. He must regret it later on, when he realised that the bear caused the problem. I don't think Kat will be dependent on him anymore now!

Mirabella's furious too now. She thjnks Arsinoe did it on purpose. Only if someone could tell her that it was Jules :/

I have a feeling that the Milones might want to hide the truth about Arsinoe being a poisoner. They'll have an element of surprise then. Katherine can't hurt her. But she could be stronger than Kat!

I wish I could start the next one rn, but gotta wait :'(

Yeah I agree, Joseph annoys me, no matter what caused it, it was his choice and he made it, so yeah I agree, such an idiot

Hahaha yes I honestly cannot wait to see Katherine so angry and so revengeful. It's like Mirabella, she's now so angry with Arsinoe and Arsinoe has a secret that no one knows, I'm so eager to see what happens next in the series!

I was honestly pretty disappointed in this book. The writing style felt very amateurish, which is really a bad thing considering this is Kendare Blake's like 12th published work, so...

A lot of the characters really got on my nerves, but mostly Arsinoe, Jules, and Joseph, and also kind of Pietyr and Katharine, but mostly Jules lol. I really liked Mirabella though. I'll probably not continue the series though. It just didn't do anything for me.
