Elyse, Just looked to see what your first read of the year was - so disappointed for you! I actually had been looking at your first two reads of 2018, think I'll move them further down my TBR list. Also, I've never read any of Sue Grafton's alphabet mysteries - may need to move those up on the list!

The Sue Grafton series is very good! Some books better than others but as a whole I'd give it 4 1/2 stars! Unfortunately she recently passed away so Z will never be published and we'll never get a real conclusion but it's still worth reading! :)

Annie | 420 comments 3. The Story of Arthur Truluv by Elizabeth Berg The Story of Arthur Truluv by Elizabeth Berg.

Throughout the reading of this book I laughed and I cried. Elizabeth Berg is a gifted author who's characters are so real that I found it difficult to turn that last page - I did not want this story to end. This is a book that will be read over and over again! It is truly a gift to the reader.

Annie | 420 comments 6. The Magic of Ordinary Days by Ann Howard Creel The Magic of Ordinary Days by Ann Howard Creel. Read this with a reading group. Very enjoyable historical fiction - I appreciated the author's research, especially the mention of the internment camp, Camp Amache.

White How to Manage Your Home Without Losing Your Mind: Dealing with Your House's Dirty Little Secrets by Dana K. White. Humorous, but I found it to be a bit too repetitive for my liking.

8. Still Me (Me Before You, #3) by Jojo Moyes Still Me by Jojo Moyes. Loved it! A great follow-up to Me Before You and After You. Made me realize how much I missed Louisa Clark!

9. The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. Wow! What a story, and written with such feeling! At the risk of divulging what a book nerd I am, I must say, the hard cover edition of this book is just beautiful!

Yes, Bradley only had a 10-book plan. Maybe fan fervor will keep him writing?! It comes out next year; The Golden Tresses of the Dead.

Oh bummer I didn't realize this was a sequel/companion to Arthur Truluv! Now I have to read that first! Which I also got from NetGalley last year and still haven't read. lol. I get Elizabeth Berg confused with Elizabeth Gilbert. I have not read a Berg book yet.
