Thank you Elyse and Andrea! I'm looking forward to another great year of reading, and being with this wonderful group of readers!
1.
The Trust: A Novel by Ronald H. Balson. A bit of history, a bit of mystery - a great way to start off the year! My first book by this author - I'll be adding his other titles to my TBR list!

Elyse, Just looked to see what your first read of the year was - so disappointed for you! I actually had been looking at your first two reads of 2018, think I'll move them further down my TBR list. Also, I've never read any of Sue Grafton's alphabet mysteries - may need to move those up on the list!

The Sue Grafton series is very good! Some books better than others but as a whole I'd give it 4 1/2 stars! Unfortunately she recently passed away so Z will never be published and we'll never get a real conclusion but it's still worth reading! :)

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. I loved this book! Loved Eleanor, such a great character!
3.
The Story of Arthur Truluv by Elizabeth Berg.
Throughout the reading of this book I laughed and I cried. Elizabeth Berg is a gifted author who's characters are so real that I found it difficult to turn that last page - I did not want this story to end. This is a book that will be read over and over again! It is truly a gift to the reader.

Need to Know by Karen Cleveland. Loved it! Had me glued to the pages - did not want to put this one down!
5.
The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn. Wow! This was an amazing book! Hard to believe it's a debut novel. Well written, great pace - a thrilling and satisfying read!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! There's something satisfying about starting off the year with page-turner that you don't want to put down!

The Magic of Ordinary Days by Ann Howard Creel. Read this with a reading group. Very enjoyable historical fiction - I appreciated the author's research, especially the mention of the internment camp, Camp Amache.
7.
How to Manage Your Home Without Losing Your Mind: Dealing with Your House's Dirty Little Secrets by Dana K. White. Humorous, but I found it to be a bit too repetitive for my liking.
8. Still Me by Jojo Moyes. Loved it! A great follow-up to Me Before You and After You. Made me realize how much I missed Louisa Clark!
9. The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. Wow! What a story, and written with such feeling! At the risk of divulging what a book nerd I am, I must say, the hard cover edition of this book is just beautiful!

Annie, I can't wait to read Still Me! Also, there is something amazing about a beautiful hardcover :)
10.
Force of Nature by Jane Harper. Federal agent Aaron Falk returns in this fast paced mystery. This book has a different feel from Harper's debut,
The Dry, but the read was just as enjoyable!
11.
The Taster by V.S. Alexander. Enjoyed reading this one. Interesting, a look at the war from a different perspective.
12. The House on Harbor Hill by Shelly Stratton.
13. A Short History of the Girl Next Door by Jared Reck.

Last book?!?!?!? No No No say it is not so!! I just mentioned in my last review how upset I would be when this series ended.

Yes, Bradley only had a 10-book plan. Maybe fan fervor will keep him writing?! It comes out next year; The Golden Tresses of the Dead.

The Stolen Marriage by Diane Chamberlain. I'm a sucker for a good historical fiction novel and this one did not disappoint! Very well written and researched.

The Coincidence of Coconut Cake by Amy E. Reichert. Enjoyable beach read.
23. The History of Bees by Maja Lunde. This was a slow starter for me but around 60 pages in, I was hooked! Read this with a book group - probably not one I would pick up on my own, but so glad I read it.

The Lost Vintage by Ann Mah. What an enjoyable book! Well researched historical content with just enough mystery to keep me turning the pages! Transitions between past and present were nicely done.

Oh bummer I didn't realize this was a sequel/companion to Arthur Truluv! Now I have to read that first! Which I also got from NetGalley last year and still haven't read. lol. I get Elizabeth Berg confused with Elizabeth Gilbert. I have not read a Berg book yet.
