Favorite Lines “Well it isn't clear. I worry about telling you how I'm feeling about all this. How I feel about turning, and what I feel for you. I worry you'll freak out and change into your Protector mode and say we can't be together and then where will I be? I would be fine without a family if I had you, but I can't decide that if it's not a choice you're willing to give me. And you’re making it sound like it isn't. This isn't fair to me if you can't truly make up your mind.”

“Being afraid does not make you a coward, Ariya. People who are brave must have some fear, otherwise how is what they are doing courageous? The absence of fear isn’t what defines the brave. It’s the presence of fear while still making the right choice that defines it.”

“One more thing that you should think about. If James does die tomorrow, do you really want to live knowing that you didn't spend every moment you could being happy with him? Love isn't something you get dealt all the time. When you do, you have to cherish it. I haven’t seen either of you like this before. There is something special between you. I know you feel you're protecting him, but are you doing yourselves a disservice in the process?”

“You’re safe,” he exhaled. “I’m not going anywhere.”

How much more can Ariya take? She is finally with James but, then comes someone everyone thought was long gone. She's kidnapped tortured, her dreams are manufactured, and everyone she loves is in danger because she loves them! In this one some horrible heartbreaking things happen to Ariya and I wondered if she would make it but, she surprised me again and came back stronger than she was before! With family like they have I wonder how much longer they can survive!
Everyone wants her blood when all she wants is to be normal, happy, and with James! It was a great next step in this fabulous tale! I want James and Ariya together forever but, stubborn Ariya might stand in her own way! I know why she's doing what she does but, I don't like it! The ending of this book of course makes me demand more! Great book, great story, great everything!
