** spoiler alert ** Chile…. If you are super religious/very Christian/Catholic (whatever that means to you), I would sit this one out ma boi. If not and you don’t mind some mild to moderate blasphemy/desacration, have at it!

Very early on in the book, I discovered that Tyler (our MMC) is basically a super hot, very horny, sex deprived Catholic priest. The way he verbalizes his desires and intertwine them with literally Bible verses or other religious references throughout the book was a little, uh.. startling for me lol. In fact I found myself muttering “omg” and “Lord forgive me” out loud while listening. I’ll just say one scene involves lubrication and that one shooketh me. IYKYK

Poppy is a decent MFC. Beautiful, smart, talented and wealthy. Apparently she’s this man’s kryptonite and he was ready to (and did) risk it all after just barely hearing her voice for the first time.

As a girlie that’s into a daddy Dom stuff, I really did enjoy his spicy dialogue. I feel like some more detail could’ve gone into the spice scenes especially with the “finishing” parts but that’s just my personal preference. The book makes it seem as if he’s falling in love with her but to me it was more like 95% lust and 5% love. The back stories and story line was good but I wish there was more of a fight when it came to him giving into temptation. He was very quick and willing to repeatedly cross the boundaries of right and wrong. Just wish there was a little more effort with him having restraint.

I love that it worked out in the ending for them. I love happy ending books so this earned a 3/5 for me. Not sure if I’ll actually read the rest in the series.
