On a stormy afternoon, I sat down and read Downpour in one sitting. Who could ever imagine a writer could make ordinary rain so terrifying? The writing is good, the characters had faults and you are rooting for the "hero" who ends up being anything but. Luckily for me by the time I went to bed it had stopped raining where I was.
