I thought it was well written. The reveals weren't surprising, but they weren't shark jumpy.
I am curious why the women in these books never have friends? And I will never understand why people who are looking into murders go anywhere without their phones.

Larry Fontenot Yes, that was one of the few complaints I had about this book. Leaving your cell phone at home when you're going to a house where your own son is sure a murderer resides? Clumsy plotting. I never like it when an author makes a major character do stupid things.


Julie Right, right, right! Don't take your cell phone with you? In today's world??
