honestly i’m shocked that i ended up loving this book. i happy that i didn’t end up dnf it. I liked the whole concept with gothic murder mystery storyline. It does makes you suspicious of everyone in the house who had contact with the victims.

but i’ll be honest that the first 150 pages of this book, were so boring and nothing really happened until over half way through the book.

I was not expecting Percy to be the one behind all of this mystery, like honestly my heart broke into pieces as he was one of my favourite characters, and his dead at the end had me sobbing like a little baby.

Same with Elijah saying goodbye to Lillian, my heart was in pieces, it was so devastating. knowing that she had to leave him behind and Elijah begging her not to leave, like why would you do this to me.
