convinced nothing could top this masterpiece (maybe the sequel)
the second i opened up page 1, i couldn’t put this book down. my eyes were gorilla glued to the pages. i knew i’d enjoy this book but i didn’t know i’d love it to the point of actually considering how i could cement it into my brain, skin, and body. 😤
this was the hunger games meets Underworld. from the world building to the lush writing, nothing was a miss to my eyes. from characters i’d literally move continents for to a slow burning romance that ached me to the core. the plot was giving as much as the romance. and we got enough of both.🫠
oraya! female rage incarnated to the max. she’s so effortlessly fierce, badass, and strong. usually battle/fight scenes bore me but it’s the way i couldn’t get enough of it when she was involved. this book is all in her pov and it was the best decision. she’s not only my favorite character in this series but one of all time now. she deserves the world and i’ll gladly kneel before her 🧎🏻♀️
raihn. my man (that doesn’t know he’s my man yet) god i love his personality. he’s so babygirl. he’s so charming. but he has a lot of growing on me to do which i’m hoping to get in the sequel.🧎🏻♀️yet i still want him till i am diagnosed with SEVERE spine and back problems 🥰
but i gotta say, my favorite part about this book was the plot over the romance. i was so entranced in the writing and world building that i could clearly imagine every corner, inch, and cobblestone of this world and its kingdoms. and gahhh damn those last 30 pages…you could have a gun to my head and i wouldn’t have guessed the way things ended. i was shocked to say the least. my brain must have paralyzed entirely as some point. i lost all mobile functionality. i finished this book breathing hard and staring at the walls for like 20 minutes processing the intense shit i just read. 🤯
carissa broadbent count your fucking days because my therapist and lawyer say i’m entitled to emotional compensation, they’ll be in contact…

I literally thought nothing would compare to Aelin & Rowan but Daughter of No Worlds proved me wrong. Carissa is seriously doing IT. Everything she creates is amazing.
I seriously freaking love this book and just waiting for the 2nd book to arrive! I'm so happy that you love the book! Your reviews are awesome and unhinged which I love, as always!
Just finished it 5 minutes ago and reading your post, you put all my feelings into words and I appreciate you for that! I’m gonna go process for an hour now 🙃
I recommend this book to you months ago in another review and I AM SO HAPPY that you read it!!! its amazing
u have to read slaying the vampire conqueror!! it’s a stand alone set in the same universe and just as good as the og series!!
This is so accurate. I’m rereading the end next day because I am like wtf did I just experience. Stellar!
just stayed up all night reading fourth wing. apparently from your review i'm up today reading this :] thanks for posting s2
Literally just finished and I don’t even need to write a review. You captured it all. The last 30 pages!!! I am SPENT. so good!
Literally need a therapist now 😭 was ugly crying the whole time i read the last 30 pages of this book
I'm still in the process of reading this, but you NAILED this book! And now I want to read more of your reviews.
On page 100 and its not making won't to read on please say it get better as I'm find it hard to picture it at the moment...
ahhhhhhh...I started reading this in book club (truthfully would probably not have picked it up on my own, I don't really read fantasy) however I am a convert now after this book. When I first started reading for book club, it was 20 pages every night to stay on course. The next section we read I could only read 10 pages a night and it was difficult. Came to the next section to read and it was only 7 pages a night to stay the course. I said to hell with it and finished the rest of the book in 2 days, I couldn't help myself. I laid awake at 2:30 am after I finished reading the last 100 pages, stunned and staring at the wall trying to process. Bought the second book today and will probably be reading long into the night. Soooo good! Great review, I feel the same!!!!
This review is perfect. Slow burn, GREAT plot and good character development. I pulled an all-nighter to read it and I am still seething. Time for book #2!
The ending DESTROYED me! But I totally agree that I was loving the world building over the romance—sure, I loved the romance but I was also so invested in the trials!
i love this review. got to say im only reading it because of you. i want to get so wrecked i need emotional compensation :D :) <3
I was panicking about not finding something as good as the ACOTAR series once I finish but it sounds like this might have to be next… 👀
All Of These Comments Are So Accurate To Everything I’m Feeling After Reading This 😫😭😫😭😫😭😫👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Girl same, I just picked it up at the library 2 days ago and have around 50 pages left. If I didn’t have to mom and life I would have finished it the first day I got it. I’m in love, & already have books 2 & 3 waiting for them to come in to read. I’m sad it’s over.
