Who can resist a lovely, small-town beach read—with parades, fireworks, quaint shops, delicious seafood cuisine—and friends helping friends? Not me...that much is for sure!
Maya Reynolds is the perfect book heroine—a young, beautiful, smart, successful, independent woman—but in her personal life she seems to have no common sense or self confidence at all. She listens far too much to others' advice and totally ignored my exasperated forehead palming and warnings. Sigh... And speaking of small-town fireworks, there were plenty between Maya and the sizzling hot veterinarian, Dr. Brody Tanner! The physical chemistry between them was absolutely undeniable.
Yes—wonderfully realistic, imperfect characters, precious secondary characters, and a beautiful setting makes 'The View From Coral Cove' a sweet, memorable read. Although labeled as Christian fiction there was nothing overtly spiritual in this novel, however, it was squeaky clean. Recommend to all lovers of contemporary romance beach reads!
