It was great to be back in Tita Rosie's kitchen with Lila and the gang. I love all of the food talk.

The pageant was less in the forefront than the food, and that was alright with me.

I am beginning to wonder how so much death can occur in such a small town. Makes it seem a bit over the top.

It is good to see that Lila does not compromise or diminish herself for the suitors, and that there is some progress and decision-making going on.

Adeen is great for some comic relief and gossip. I was sad that we didn't have more from the aunties, but I did enjoy getting to know more about the cousin rivalry.

Overall, it was fun and a quick read.

Joe I don't know how you make a cozy mystery appetizing to someone who doesn't read cozy mysteries, but I love this review, Brittany. Keep these coming.
