Julie Ehlers You really have me intrigued about this one!

Jenna Hi Julie! I can see it’s not for everyone, and it’s not perfect, but I found it very creative and (the tone, the narration) refreshingly different. It was a solid 4.5 for me. It reads like a collection of 5 connected short stories (the temp jobs she tries out), and I liked a few of them more than the others, which I think would be the case for anyone. I always like work-related themes too, and I enjoyed learning about Japanese culture. The book is its own thing and I definitely would not compare it to the books to which it’s being compared!
