Notes from Underground by Fyodor Dostoyevsky

In this book, Dostoyevsky described the inner worlds of a man who did not find a place for himself in society. And then he began to pour out his anger, hatred, and fears from his dark dwelling underground. Moreover, the story did present some insights into life in Russia at that time. Till now, I've read a few Dostoyevsky books, and it's the least enjoyable to me. There was more psychological matter. And probably for this, it was difficult for me to grasp the story.
I say let the world go to hell, but I should always have my tea.

Decent.

megs_bookrack I have had this forever, but have been hesitant to pick it up. I absolutely love Crime and Punishment; it doesn't sound like it's at that level.

Michael Perkins I'm catching up on his shorter works. But to really get Dostoyevsky it's necessary to read Brothers Karamazov and Crime & Punishment.

Many of my friends love it. This book just didn't go well for me. So, it's kind of...unpopular opinion from me. Read it!! Hope you'll love it.💕🌸😊

I didn't know that. I've started to read shorter books before. So, I still need to read Brothers Karamazov and Crime & Punishment. Till now, I love all his short books except this one.💕
