I couldn’t finish it. It wasn’t my cup of tea at all. It wasn’t a bad book, and the writing was good. So I’d still recommend it, as I can see why so many people love this book.
For me it was too complicated; and by that I mean remembering all the different names when being introduced to 20 characters in one chapter, and not to mention all the different terms. It was too much for someone like me with a bad short term memory. And because I couldn’t remember who was who, or what the different terms meant - I just simply lost interest in the book. The book was also slow and
I lose interest in books that aren’t fast-faced. For example; when a whole chapter is just 2 people chatting unnecessary shite, or 3 pages describing how a room looks.
It’s still a great book and the author is very talented, but it just didn’t tick my boxes.
