Well, kids, I did it! I read my first Lars Kepler book. And boiiii did it deliver!
Okay, The Sandman. It’s EFFING sinister - like burying people alive sinister and once you find out why, OOPH GIRL, chills. 😳 Like talk about deep rooted resentment issues. This killer would probably need hourly therapy to get over his shit!
And then the cliffhanger! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME?!
Oh before I go, the tea here is that it gets a little “emotional” like more “emotional” than I usually peg for a Scandinavian noir crime novel. And by emotional, I mean it borrowed on domestic drama for about 100 pages. Not bad, just wasn’t fitting the whole “serial killer mental patient” vibes. So, alas, I give this 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
