it was amazing

** spoiler alert ** After reading HOOD, the first installment of Stephen Lawhead's King Raven trilogy, I proceeded to the conclusion of the journey, TUCK. Why? In my youthful reading of Robin Hood, I always thought the good Friar an important character of this folklore. Thus, I skipped SCARLET, to be revisited later. The epic conclusion to the trilogy, TUCK, did not disappoint, as the stalwart mendicant shrewdly manipulates the suprise ending to this tale. Combining fantasy, mythology, history, geography, political intrigue of medieval Britain, and folklore of the Robin Hood, Lawhead finds his mark. A captivating, fun read from cover to cover. What's not to like with this epic retelling of Robin Hood? Deserving a strong 4.5 rating.
