Since I haven't given this book a rating, you can probably tell that I don't know how I feel...
I definitely don't feel the same as I did when I first finished the book, because upon reading some of the reviews and hearing other people's thoughts, I wouldn't consider myself a fan of the book anymore. There are definitely some problematic themes, and harmful depictions of topics that should be carefully approached. It doesn't put mental illness in a good light, and glamorizes cheating, which is something that shouldn't be glossed over. I do still like the main characters, and their relationships with one another, but I don't want to recommend a book that could be harmful to certain audiences.

4.5 out of 5 stars
What a lovely high school mystery! It had a very suspenseful plot that left me guessing the entire time (even if I did predict beforehand who the killer was, but we needn't talk about that) but the characters are what really did it for me. I loved all of the characters for different reasons, and it was interesting to hear the same story told in four different perspectives, each with different ideas of what they were going to do about their situations. There was a lot of high school drama involving romances and breakups, but I liked seeing the characters trying to move on with their lives. There was a lot going on (as you can probably tell) but it was evenly distributed throughout the book. Given what happens towards the end, it was a pretty wild ride, but not in a bad way! Can't wait to pick up the sequel :)
