I think this is my favorite book in the series so far! The events in this book take place immediately after the dedication of the Kirtland Temple to the arrival of the Kirtland saints in Far West. Family relationships get deeper, and also become more complicated. I can't say too much without spoiling the rest of the book. But I'm excited to read the next book and see what lies in store for the Steed family!
