Listened to the audio this time around. Michael C. Hall's performance was absolutely superb.
I forgot what a slow, deep, character driven story this is. Then a quick spiral ending into the dark and terrible.
Dreadfully scary for sure. It was on my to-re-read lineup all year, but had to put it down after listening to the intro and wait for bike season to pass before starting again.

Scary book! Read it years ago and for weeks it gave me the creeps when I walked out in the dark at night.
