The Prisoner of Heaven (The Cemetery of Forgotten Books, #3)

** spoiler alert **
I liked this book but not nearly as much as the other two. I was first really surprised that it was only 6 audio CDs vs. the typical 12+ in the other series. Not sure if this book was rushed. It seemed like it ended on a cliff hanger so I wonder if there is going to be a BOOK #4 (which I hope there is).
OK... What I liked:
* The back story behind Fermine and the escape from prison.
* The comradery of Daniel and Fermine and the humor and family bond
* Plenty of action in both books and you won't be board.
* Fermine is going to be the new keeper of the Cemetary of Forgotten books (or so it seems)
* The events leading up to the wedding...
I was really disappointed in Isabella's death. She had such a strong presence in book #2 and worked so well with Martine, dying of being poisioned seems trivial. I was glad to see her defending Martine. I wondered if there was a romance connection between them or just a friendship.
I was happy to see Martine back in book two but how he got in the prison was somewhat confusing. It was kind of a cliff hanger how he never appeared at the end of the book. I loved how he planned the escape.
Will Daniel get his revenge for his mother's death? He proved to be a STRONG character when he beat up the man pursuing Bea. I was surprised he wasn't further prosecuted for that.
Audio book was excellent again! Not as good as #2 but still good!
Overall I would give this 4.5 stars. It is a GREAT series.
