A great read for anyone wanting to understand the nature of war and the effects on post-war veterans. The characters are made up, but the stories are real! Pitre draws you in and makes you love the characters and the comraderie known only to military brotherhood and sisterhood. It's got elements of seriousness and humor all wrapped up in one package. You can't help but love it!
