** spoiler alert ** Well I enjoyed this book much more than the first one !

It follows Thomas, Theresa and the others right after they've been rescued. But things are not what they seem to be. Theresa is abducted and replaced by Aris.
There are 2 groups and they've got a mission : survive in the wild world, and go to the safe haven and be cured.
Theresa is talking to Thomas by telepathy and tells him that he needs to trust her, no matter what.
Aris is also able to speak to him like this.

The "boys" group is released in a desertic area. Minho is the leader.
They find a city full of Cranks. there they meet Jorge and Brenda and make a deal with them in order to stay alive.

Thomas is betrayed by Theresa and Aris.
His relationship with Theresa is forever damaged, and she won't be able to do anything to change it.

I liked the plot, and it was more fast paced than the first one.
The writing style seems better, in my opinion.

The characters development is here, specially for Thomas, towards the end of the book.
And the final plot twist !!! I can't wait to read the next book !
