Dash & Lily's Book of Dares (Dash & Lily, #1)

I gave this a 2.5/5 as I read it easily front to back without losing too much interest, but it was extremely forgettable. I definitely see myself a year from now not remembering any real plot points of this book, I didn't really connect with the characters but it did keep my attention. I think the authors are talented and did a great job as a team and I do plan to pick up their other book collaborations.

"I seem to be reading a lot of books about book lovers lately. I feel like it's almost a cop out to have your main character be an avid reader. It's an easy means to make us, the reader, automatically connect with the narrator...because you wrote it knowing we're already going to have that in common with them."
