But when their first big wedding in her mom's new venue goes horribly wrong when the MOH is murdered, everything goes downhill. Once again, Ms. Thompson drew me into Maddie and Jenna's world that now includes Maddie's mom, Gigi, who is delightful! No one draws characters quite as deftly as Ms. Thompson, and I particularly love the relationship between Maddie and Jenna--the closeness of their mother/daughter bond warms my heart. Maddie's bold steps into investigating the murder of the MOH nearly costs her more than she ever anticipates. A fun cozy with great characters. Sure hope Maddie and Jenna will be back with more!...more
