It was, as always, both exciting and heartwarming, to be back in River's Edge, Indiana, where tenderness, humor, and support abound. The Walkers are a favorite family there, and Cam is...well, he's pretty special.

Miles and Abby couldn't have been much different, despite their regret over their shared loss of Miles's sister. However, they find ways--some of them involving snow--to come together over love for baby Willow, Abby's two young sons, and music.
The tenderness in the story is palpable and warming. Highly recommended!

Katie Walsh's story is a compelling one and Colleen Donnelly tells it in a voice that seems to belong to the story. She has a smart and yet easy-reading writer's voice and I enjoy every word. While I love the people in her stories, I also like that I learn things in every one. It's no secret that romance authors are queens of research, and Ms. Carpenter deserves a special seat on the throne!
