My name’s Nate Lewis, owner of The Paradise Club. I can bring every little dirty fantasy you have ever dreamed of to reality. My business is your pleasure. I’m good at it. So good it’s made me a wealthy and powerful man. I have one rule—never mix business and pleasure, and I’ve lived by it from day one.
"JA Low lives on a faraway beach in Australia. When she's not writing steamy scenes and admiring hot surfers, she's tending to her husband and two sons, and dreaming up the next epic romance."
The trigger warnings didn’t prepare me for the ending of this book which is why I dropped this a star from a qualified recommendation.
This started as pretty much a big ole sex opera, which I’m not opposed to. I was ok with both MCs were very sexually adventurous, and open about their desires. They were banging like bunnies throughout and while I would have liked more time spent developing the relationship through conversations, it was ok. I could have done without them reiterating that they were just friends with benefits every other convo but ok. The story was pretty standard otherwise.
There are inconsistencies and plot holes, which are inevitable when trying to weave together so many storylines (references to events from other books and other Couples) so I understand that.
However, I hated the big, “dark moment” twist. Both the MCs are set up by the villain while at the male MC’s resort that was supposed to be highly secure and sexually assaulted (and the male MC was drugged and raped), and nothing was really done about it, especially the male MC. It was all about the female MC’s trauma in a superficial way, revenge is exacted in a way that has nothing to do with the incredibly fucked up assaults, just a big ole WTF that left me gaping at the book. It’s not addressed in any real way, all about the female MC’s trauma but nothing about the male lead, they’re separated for a few months(!) and then it’s wrapped up in an HEA.
I’m all for a twist but that made no sense in the context of the story and if you’re goin to throw in a sexual assault at least address it. Not what I expected and it ended up disappointing me greatly because of it.
I’m not eating this one because it wasn’t what I expected and I skipped most of it. - it is an erotic romance where sex is the main focus and sooooooo… nope, I didn’t enjoy it. - the plot seemed intriguing. The heroine is in a relationship with her boyfriend of 6 months, she’s an event planner and she’s hired to plan the engagement party of a jet set couple. When she arrives at this mansion she finds out the happy couple is a young heiress and her boyfriend! The idiot basically tells her it’s an arranged marriage and he and the heroine can still be lovers. Of course the heroine is veeeery angry and hurt, and she leaves him. - some time later she meets the hero. She is hired to plan the opening of his new resort, an island where every guest can have sex with hired professional ( male and female prostitutes) and explore some kinky things. She is attracted by the hero and they have sex. After a very hot night together they decide they will be occasional fuck buddies, but they agree they won’t be exclusive. After all, the hero has to try and train his staff and there’s so much temptation in his resort, and the heroine wants to have some free sex with multiple partners. They are both so relieved that they can have sex with whom they want without committing to someone. - at this point the book was lost for me. I’m not a prude but the idea that those two met, were attracted to one another but were horrified by the idea of being exclusive and happy to be with op was very disappointing. It means that their attraction wasn’t so special. - and actually the hero had a bj by one of his employees and the heroine had sex with one of his colleagues, and both were watching the other having sex with op, without being jealous. Not for me folks. - I skipped all the parts where she was at the resort and they had sex with multiple partners. Where’s the romance. - I expected that at least in the beginning they would be attracted to each other so much that they would be unable to think to op, then when they bonded they could have explored sex with other people. Not my ideal couple but it would have been better. But the idea of them having sex with all the world well, it was like watching a x rated movie. Why? - then they start to be more than fuck buddies, first they decide to have orgies but only at the resort, afterwards he wants to have sex with other people but only if both of them are present. Mmmmm, progress. - and then after some time he tells her that they would be exclusive and won’t have other partners. And what about temptation? - there’s some drama when she’s almost raped by her ex and he’s actually drugged and raped by two women, something that should be expected when you have random sex with strangers. - and in the end he wants to sell his shares because he doesn’t want his children to grow up with a pimp for a father. Thank goodness for small mercies. - I may be judgemental , I’m all for healthy consensual sex but this way of having compulsory bizarre sex with too many partner is something that borders on pathological. Like an addiction. I found it shallow and mechanical. A way to use people and be used by them. I need feelings and here it was absent. And I love possessive and jealous heroes who don’t share. And committed. And my idea of love doesn’t include to surprise my partner with a gift of a whore that wake him up with a bj. - I thought that when they met, after that awful experience the heroine and the hero fell in love and felt committed to each other or at least felt they wanted to be exclusive. Not the case. Thanks but no thanks. Maybe those who love erotic romance could enjoy this one, I don’t.
If you are not a fan of straight up dirty sex this isn’t the book for you but if you can handle the burner turned up to the highest level you will thoroughly enjoy this book. These men and women are movers and shakers and know what they want and aren’t afraid to go after in not only their business lives but their personal lives as well.
Nate is the owner of the Paradise club that the men for the rock band Dirty Texas liked to frequent and now he’s expanding his operations to islands that are no holds bar, anything goes. Camryn has just found that her boyfriend had not only been cheating on her but was doing so with his fiancé in waiting. He said it was a business deal which was pushed on him by his father. Harris was hiding a lot my secrets than his fiancé and had a crazy side to him that had Camryn truly terrified. Would Nate be able to save her?
Camryn and Nate drew closer and each had kinky encounters with others as well. As time went on the game rules started to change and things started to go a little deeper. So hold on for one heck of a ride with these two who know how to burn up the pages.
3.5⭐️ 4.25🌶 there were parts of this book I really enjoyed - but I also couldn’t fully stay engaged for all of it though. It felt choppy throughout, like parts of the story weren’t fully thought out or expanded on, seemed rushed sometimes, and there were a lot of extra storylines that seemed to be happening, but not in this actual book, so I found myself confused some.
But I did enjoy Nate and Camryn a lot. I enjoyed the way their relationship progressed, because that actually did not feel rushed. Overall, I am excited to read book 2 and see where Ivy and Alex’s story takes me.
DNF 6% Sex with OM who she calls her ‘ride or die’ in the first chapter. So she’s just gonna move to a new ride or die? No thanks. The writing style was droning too.
Welcome to Paradise. Leave your inhibitions at the door and have enjoy!
I have been looking forward to this Dirty Texas spinoff, and Ms Low has given us a sexy as hell story.
I adored Camryn in the DT books, and Nate was kind of hovering around the outskirts of that DT extended family, and I was keen to know if they would ever get together.
And boy, do they get together! They're need for a non-relationship is one that is full of spark, and you can feel the sexual tension leap off the page. Can anyone say proximity pheromones??
Now, this this is all on me, and not on the book. To me, there was just too much sexy times. I know, I know - this is never really a problem for me, so this is more about my state of mind when I was reading than the book.
I loved the story behind all the sexy times, and there were a couple of WTF moments. I knew something was going to happen with one particular character, but was shocked with how things played out.
I did enjoy reading, and Nate is all kinds of hot. I loved that Camryn got her happy ending - in more ways than one!
DNF at 61% and still don’t know where this is going, like there are like a million plots with all these characters that are mentioned that we don’t know, and the main plot is nonexistent because yes they are just having sex but they are not friends neither gf/bf and is all to shallow and so BORING
This book had one of the hottest spicy scenes ever written and it contained role-playing! 👀
🌙 SPOILERS FOR THE BOOK BELOW 🌙
The premise and the idea of the book are freaking spectacular. I found myself enjoying that part so much! Nate and Camryn start out as friends and they not so innocently text each other for a few weeks but they end up steaming it up quite quickly. They had many agreements throughout the book but I believe all of them were basically the same, so they could have just had one. I like how they worked out but the way there not so much. The side characters were all described in honestly too much detail every time they get on the "screen". Like, how many times do you have to mention the band?
The smut of this book was truly something magnificent. All of the various sharing, group, role playing scenes. My God! And the different kinks the book covered. I know I will be returning to this book just to reread those scenes. 🔥🔥🔥
The conflict did bring a sour taste to my mouth. I did not enjoy the fact that Nate was SA and noone mentioned it. The whole conflict was focused around the supposed SA of Camryn but in my mind Nate was more of a victim, he almost died, was raped and I hate how it was resolved. I just feel like the author somehow forgot that men can be SA too. And the ending of this was them having monogamous relationship and I like that but it seems like the only reason they did was because of the trauma they went through and I would much rather them just realising they just want each other and maybe some play time on dates. The proposal was done in the most original way ever and I wish I could find out how it worked out for them later.
The writing at the start of the book was terrible but it sorted itself out later on.
If you like voyeurism, exhibitionism, sharing scenes then the spice in this book is for you! If you don’t like open relationship vibes then please skip this one.
Nate & Camryn are instantly attracted to one another & enter a type of friends with benefits arrangement that due to living miles apart & busy work schedules mean they enter into an relaxed type of open relationship.
Nate runs a s&x club and is opening a new adult resort too. Camryn goes to both to join him for some 'fun'.
Nate is a strong, hot dominant billionaire but not an as$hole alpha. He was really sweet and protective of her and there was constant of checking consent & safe words & prior discussions in place (which is really key for me to enjoy books like these).
Camryn (30yrs) was strong, independent & absolutely owned her sexuality & wasn’t afraid to ask for what she wanted in & out of the bedroom.
The spice includes:
- role play - Video/phone action - group activities - Voyeurism - food play
My only issue with this book came towards the end. I didn’t like the addition of the 85% dramatic incident or how it was handled. I don’t want to spoil it by saying more but I think it’s important to note the trigger warning in this book of attempted SA (not by H)
- Dual POV - On KU - HEA - Trigger warning - attempted SA
It was not good. Because I had high expectations, I’m disappointed. I only enjoyed the middle part of the book. There was no emotional depth. I was expecting the story to be around this famous Paradise Resort but we didn’t see it more than a few chapters. I was honestly expecting a light read without drama. It was not well written in my opinion. :/
ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review
This was a fun book from JA Low, however there was a little bit too much sexy times in there for me. Although, that being said, the book is about a sex club owner, so I guess it's to be expected. And it's just a personal preference for me that I sometimes don't get as involved in books that have too much of that. Just personal choice though, and should in no way stop you from enjoying this book.
The story itself, outside of all that, was fun and interesting, and kept me interested in turning the page. I liked our main characters and how they connected and I could understand their views about certain things.
There were some fun secondary characters in this as well, and also a few things that surprised me and I didn't see coming with the storyline.
I did enjoy this, and look forward to more from this series, as there are a couple of characters I definitely want to see get their happy endings as well.
As you dive into the world of The Paradise Club with Nate and Camryn the line from Nelly's song, it's getting hot in here, will play on repeat. Their story is scorching hot, it will have your skin sizzling, your heart pounding, your pulse racing and the odd blush might just appear. I will be honest I struggled a little in this book because the "sharing" (even though consensual) messes with my head a little. However move past that and this is a highly emotional story, one of heartbreak and moving forward when love presents itself again unexpectedly. Nate and Camryn are two people plagued with trust issues due to past experiences. No expectations were made but as the story unfolds you will feel the moment that their hearts find the place they were always destined to be. Paradise is witty, flirty, drama packed and seriously sexy. A story that pushed and pulled at my heart and then stole it completely.
So I actually really liked this book because I don't mind some sharing and voyeurism and sexy vibes that it was throwing off.
Then there was a double sexual assault in the last 15% that really pissed me off. This book did not need to go there. There was just no need for it and I lost a lot of my enjoyment.
3/5 stars

You guys…..This book REQUIRES hydration…Safety first lol.
Check the trigger warnings - there aren’t many but just a few that I have listed below.
This book is HOT - Scorching HOT. 🔥🔥 Like I am not kidding about the hydrating part…There are A LOT of adult activities, with A LOT of people, multiple times in this book. I found the overall book to be funny, surprisingly emotional, and as I said above H.O.T.
This book is not plot driven, it is absolutely character driven. The story immediately pulled me in and I had no choice but to devour the book. The chemistry of our MMC, Nate, and FMC, Camryn, is insane and the tension is THICK. Both of our MC’s came with a past filled with trauma, baggage, and trust issues - so it was really refreshing to see both of them being open and honest with each other on what they were looking for in each individually and in their definition of a relationship.
Anyways I am off to read book 2 now lol. I should mention that each book is a “stand alone” within a series with an HEA. BUT you should read them in order so you don’t spoil yourself on couples.
Some Trigger Warnings ⚠️ SA / R@pe ⚠️Cheating ⚠️Slut shaming ⚠️ Group Sex
Tropes: ❤️Friends to lovers ❤️Touch her and you …you know vibes ❤️The Smut is the plot
From the minute I started this book I fell in love with these two strong willed and feisty characters.
Nate Lewis and Camryn Starr will have you needing a fan and some very cold water after reading their story. I'm seriously surprised my iPad didn't catch on fire while reading these steamy as all get out scenes.
It's like JA has taken the fantasies straight from mind and turned them into one heck of a story!
I love that we get to see more from the Paradise Club and all the crazy sexiness that comes with it.
I also loved the slow development of Nate and Cam's story. It's not an insta-love romance and that made this book even better.
DNF 43% - spoilers ahead- • • • • the writing was terrible. the amount of inconsistencies in the was tragic. my head was spinning with the amount of grammar and punctuation errors, i think this would have benefitted a nice few rounds of proofreading.
i think this could have been less of a problem if the author swapped out every “!” with a “.”. like seriously? an “!” after pretty much every sentence? “shit!” “fuck!” “wait! what?” (it’s worse in context trust me)
wasn’t feeling it so spoiled it for myself and find out that not only is the FMC r@ped but so is the MMC!!? and it’s all about the fmc and how she’s gonna get over this trauma but nothing dealing with how the man is going to get over this trauma? mmmm ??? i feel like the whole scenario of this happening is so far out of left field…also if you’re gonna write about SA you should warn about SA for people who don’t vibe with it
not to mention what had me downloading this book (a sëggs scene where the woman watches the man get sucked off by another woman via facetime) WAS SO BLAND and would not be a scene that lives rent free in my mind imo. all of the sëggs scenes were very bland up until this point lmfao
Wow, waited patiently for Nate to have his story told... no warnings could be enough for the hotness that is Nate and Camryn!! This book starts off with a bang and does not stop with the entertainment, intrigue and extreme sizzle... I could say more but don't want to give away the story, just know this book is a MUST read. Be warned, cold showers and lots of batteries will be needed while reading this steamy story! What happens in Paradise stays in Paradise!
started for the spice, stayed for the spice there’s some wild shit in here
plot was okay, kind of all over the place but i didn’t hate it either
the main thing i like about this book is how empowering it is, it’s shameless and sexy and both MCs really embody this & are true to theirselves al throughout
This book right here, it's just what I want. Trust me, when I was this book has a hot hell of steamy sex and role-plays, wholesome romance and emotions
Nate is just freaking awesome and he's the creation of whoever wants to explore their fantasies in pleasure. He owns the Paradise Club that every single woman and man just explore with their sexual cavities and behind the bar anything will happen, whatever happens in Paradise; It stays in Paradise. While he is expanding his business all over the world, he comes to know about Camryn.
Camryn, has her own business and she is the best event organizer, she is in love with douche called Harry when she is invited to organize an engagement event for some rich people that turned out she is going to organize an engagement for her so-called boyfriend Harry and she found out that he's been cheating on her lately.
After all the drama, Camryn takes up the upcoming event that is for Nate, who is going to open a new resort in another city. While Nate has the motto that he never mixes his business with pleasure, especially who work for him, for Camryn, he shouldn't be able to resist her, same goes with Camryn, After her break up she is not looking for another relationship, and here is Nate who don't relationship either, So they decided to have open and friends with a relationship with each other.
While reading this book, I don't whether I should enjoy the Hotness in the story or cry for Camryn, for me also it's mixed with enjoyment and Emotion. There are some situations I ended up crying for both of them and there are just a few more chapters at the end that had me on edge, I was sobbing like a mess reading all the letters Nate and Camryn share. These both are just perfect with each other
This is my first reading something so as role-plays, having pleasure with other people like open relationships with no boundaries. I like the author's way of writing style in her books not just stem but also the plot line is something I didn't expect. Excited to read other books in the series as well as all of her books. Go for this book it will really fun read.
Camryn is a workaholic event planner determined to make a name for herself so she never has to depend on a man, ever. Nate is an adult *entertainment & hospitality* club & now island owner who never mixes business with pleasure... until Camryn.
I felt like the first few chapters were disjointed with where they would start & the new chapter would end. But once I got past the first handful of chapters, they started to flow seamlessly. I simply couldn't stop reading this book & binged it so quickly. I literally felt like I was going to melt away from the heat of tension between Nate and Camryn the further the book went on. I absolutely love them, but also their friend group. I'm so excited to read the rest of the books in the series & J.A. Low's other interconnected books to get the full experience of every character's story.
This book is definitely not for the faint of heart when it comes to spice in books. There is simply a lot of spice, like A LOT. But there's also a lot of sharing in varying degrees - sometimes they're physically together, sometimes it's over FaceTime, and so many other varieties.
TW Sexual assault, rape, billionaire, friends with benefits, sex resort, BDSM, role play
Nate and Camryn start out as friends and they not so innocently text each other for a few weeks but they end up steaming it up quite quickly. Fantasies are fulfilled as love slowly works is way under their skin and into the hearts of these two commitment phobes as they find themselves in uncharted territories. Smut of this book definitely hot and heavy. All of the various sharing, group, role playing scenes. This book did have a massive misunderstand/breakup near the end and Cam was extremely rude to Nate about it and I found it very off putting and inconsiderate on her end.
