I 'm very lucky to have the indulgence of time and space to enable me to write. I took a sabbatical from work to accompany my partner on his bucket list travels and adventures, and never went back. I really thought I would struggle with all the free time, so decided to write to keep myself occupied. Now writing has consumed my time and I am never sure where we will be or when, hence my novels could be classed 'international' as they may have been written across a few countries. We are still travelling, although we do pop back to the UK for a few months every now and again.

I love the fact that no matter what our age we can use new technology to connect to the rest of the world and enhance our lives. Back in the UK I have my friends and family and with emails, phones, skype or face-time, we are never out of touch for long. Even my mother at eighty-six uses face-time to catch up with me. I have the world at my fingertips and only twenty-four hours away from anywhere.

Being a 'mature aging gracefully' woman, I feel akin to the problems of aging and relationships. I spent many years on my own before finding my truly remarkable and very patient partner who I happily gave up my whole world for. My stories are about mature relationships with mature people. People who have character and humour, who have a history; people just like us.

I like to call it Hen Lit, not Chick Lit, but it is not just about falling in love. They are about real relationships.

I hope you enjoy my stories. Please check my web page or social media pages if you would like to contact me. I love emails and try to answer every one as soon as possible.

A Pink Christmas Kiss is the third book in the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson R. Abbott. It is another delightful, sweet holiday romance full of the magic of Christmas, family, secrets, miscommunication, small town values, and wonderful characters.
This story about a small-town girl who follows her dreams to the big city. She is hurt and disappointed when the love of her life doesn’t follow her out. Now, five years later, circumstances bring her back ‘home’ again. With Christmas fast approaching things take and interesting turn when she runs into Leroy, her ex-love. Secrets are revealed, and miscommunication seems to be the order of the day. Will they reconnect after all this time? Will the magic of Christmas weave it’s spell around them, or will this just be an opportunity to put the past to rest?
Ms. Abbott has woven another delightful Christmas romance. I can always count on her to engage me with her sweet stories and endearing characters.
A quick and easy read!

Thank you yet again, Ms. Abbott!!

I have read a couple of books by this talented author and she always surprises me. My favorite books are about Christmas. It puts a warm feeling in my heart. This is the third book is the Christmas Kiss series. These books don’t need to be read in order because they are about different couples. I was hooked on this book from page one. I could not put this book down and I read it straight through.

Billie left her hometown to follow her dream in New York. She was very disappointed when the love of her life Leroy did not follow her. Billie was too proud to pick up her phone to see how he is doing so time passed. Her family needs her help so she returns to her hometown. Billie is helping her father in his car shop. She is surprised when a gift comes to her and it takes her back to the good times. Billie is getting ready for Christmas and she runs into Leroy again. She still feels the chemistry between them but does he feel the same way? Will Billie forgive Leroy and move on or was there too much pain to heal?

I absolutely loved this book. This is the perfect book to get you into the Christmas spirit. This book has everything you want romance, humor, and forgiveness. You will fall in love with these characters right from the start. Billie loves her family so much she goes back home to help. She is still a little bitter of what happened long ago with Leroy. Leroy is a great guy. He just wants to see Billie happy. They way he treats her will make your heart melt. This author will keep you guessing on what will happen to these unforgettable characters. I can’t wait to see what this author will have for us next.

A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott was a sweet, light hearted read, that had all the good mushly feels I love in a Christmas read!

Not my first read by this author or in this series, this is the third book in the Christmas Kiss series, and I have to say, this one is my personal favourite so far. Rich with detail, and stuffed with witty banter and a strong MC, I was hooked and frankly I loved every minute of this magical christmas tale.

This one is a little different than the other two, the first two books follow our MC's getting stranded, or stuck in a unknown place and having to rely on the kindness of strangers. This book follows the more typical romantic story line. It's a second chance style romance, and that's probably why I may have, connected more with this one. I have a soft spot for this type of storyline, and when they are done right they are downright, dare I say, magical. And I can tell you, this book, was done all kinds of right.

A quick read, we are tossed into the jiff of things pretty quickly. But that fast moving pace did not take away from the detail writing and down to earth well-rounded characters, that the author managed to sculpt and mold into multi layered people, before you even know what's happening. That alone pulls you into the plot, gets you connected and before you know it, your in so deep you yourself are now apart of the story, rooting for Billie and Leroy to win.

So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval that you will get lost in this heart melty Christmas romance, that will give even the best hallmark movie the run for its money.

Happy Reading

A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R Abbott is the third book in her Christmas Kiss series. Each of these books can be read as a stand-alone and they are all as good as each other.
For me this has to have been the sweetest story out of them all so far. Small town romance gone wrong it had everything you could want out of this type of book. Billie and Leroy are exactly how I imagine small town characters to be.
Like the others this book was an easy read that is perfect to just get lost in for a few hours. Another enjoyable story.

This is a short heartwarming Christmas story. I enjoyed how I was pulled right in and made me feel as if I was right there in the story. This is a story about Billie. Five years ago she left her small town behind along with her family and her ex but now she is back. Will she get a second chance with him? I loved their banter back and forth but yet they have great chemistry together. They are strong characters that kept me reading until the end. I highly recommend reading this Christmas story.

A Pink Christmas Kiss is a another captivating christmas romance by Allyson R. Abbott. It is
a short second chance romance story that is engaging and entertaining and sweet, well most
of it is. Miscommunication and secrets seems to have kept them apart. Can they find a way
to communicate honestly and find what was once lost?
Billie wanted so much more, but what she found was that the grass is definitely not greener
on the other side. Finally coming home means she has to face her past and hope against
hope that her past is happy to see her.
Looking for a little christmas romance then A Pink Christmas Kiss is a great start.

A pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is my favorite in the series so far. This was a sweet book about a second chance romance. Billie and Leroy were the perfect couple. She decided to move to NY for better opportunities. She thought Leroy would follow her or at least fight for me but none of that happened. Here she is 5 years later and suffering from being homesick. She would love to go back to Nevada but, doesn’t want to seem like a failure. Luckily she gets a phone all from her dad telling her he needs to give up the auto repair shop due to his failing health. Billie spent a lot of time in the shop growing up. This was a perfect reason to go home.

She ends up working in the repair shop and the. Finds an old beat up deuce in a back corner buried under other stuff. The deuce is her dream car. The person dropped off the car and said money is no object, but they wanted it fixed up and there was no rush. Billie spent all her free time rebuilding it and making it beautiful. When she finds out the car is for her, she must return it to the rightful owner.

Billie runs into Leroy shortly after coming home. They both never stopped loving each other but they are both hurt. Leroy is hurt that she left him and Billie is hurt that Leroy never fought for her. Leroy had his reasons and they were really good ones. Would Billie still have left is she knew what was holding him back? Leroy didn’t want Billie to know what he was dealing with because he thought she would stay by his side and then resent him.

Every time Leroy and Billie seem to run into each other things go horribly wrong. Will they be able to reconcile and forget the past heartbreak they both felt?

Throw all the old feelings in with a five year separation and a pink deuce.

This book had me hooked from the first chapter. I loved the characters and thought the book was well written

A Pink Christmas by Allyson R. Abbott is the third book in her Christmas kiss series and I am so happy that I picked this one up. This holiday romance hooked me from the beginning and kept me enthralled until passed the last page. Following the story of Billie and Leroy, we see Billie leaving her small hometown five years ago. Wanting to spread her wings and experience life, Billie was willing to leave everything behind to make sure that she gets to live her life to the fullest. While she loved Leroy, she needed to see the world, and if Leroy loved her as much as she loved him, he would follow her….right? When Billie comes back home and seeing Leroy again with no contact for so long still enrages her. When Billie and Leroy come face to face again how will she handle him? Will Billie be able to admit that she couldn’t move past her young love or will she have to break her own heart again and walk away? Can Leroy find a way to forgive Billie for running away? Do they have strong enough feelings to make a relationship work? Abbott is a newer to me author, having only found her works with this series but I am so glad I picked it up! I recommend reading this series in order, even though each story can be read as a standalone, getting to see Abbott’s evolution of writing. If you are looking for a great series, let along author, then this is one that you need to pick up today!

A Pink Christmas Kiss
By: Allyson R. Abbott
5 out of 5 stars

The story A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is a sweet holiday romance book that I loved reading. It hooked me in from the very beginning and I was hoping that the characters would find a happy ending. It is set in a small town. Billie left town five years ago. She wanted to spread her wings. New York City is where she settled. One thing that didn’t go right is that the man she loved never followed her. Now she is back in her hometown to help her family and the sting of why he never contacted her is still there. What will happen when Billie and Leroy meet again? Do they still have feelings for each other? What does the future hold for them? Will these two find themselves together once again? Read this book to find out. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters, the part they play in the story and their interactions with Billie. There are heartwarming scenes included in this story. I liked that family is important to Billie. Will the magic of Christmas play any part in bringing them back together? Don’t miss out on reading a wonderful story about coming home and finding out if two people’s love for each other survived the passage of time. Highly recommended.

A Pink Christmas Kiss (Christmas Kiss Book 3) by Allyson R. Abbott

5 Stars

I loved this part of this series. I think this is my favorite so far and that's saying a lot because I loved the first two.

This was a super quick read that grabbed me from page 1 and although it is so short is was full of content, but not so full that it felt crammed in. If I had one complaint about this story it's just that it ended and I would have loved to have seen this story play out in a full length novel. I loved Billie, she was completely awesome and the fact that she had a job that is different then most made it that much more appealing to me. I loved the sense of family in this story and the small town feel. There was only a small glance into Leroy's life and what we did learn explained a lot about how these two ended up where they were at that time. Its that total lack of communication thing. I actually liked how their first couple meetings went after not seeing each other for years..those meetings are normally all sweet and beautiful but these I actually had to shake my head and laugh at how these two handled it.

Again I feel like a broken record but I sincerely love anything this author writes..She's an automatic one click for me, if her name is there I read it!

Loved this!!

A Pink Christmas Kiss was a good 4 star read and the third book in the Christmas Kiss series.

Billie has recently returned home to help keep the family business up and running. It was just what she needed to bring her home. While she was in New York she was confused as to why Leroy, someone she loved very much never followed her.

You can’t love someone as much as I loved Leroy and just stop. I think I’ll always care, no matter what happens or how much time passes.

Now that she has returned can she reunite with Leroy or has he moved on? The first couple of times that Billie sees Leroy it doesn’t go very well. More like open mouth insert foot.
Billie also finds out why Leroy never left town, it helps her understand a little more about why he stayed.

Can Billie and Leroy find each other again after so many years? Can they get a HEA?

There is so much more to this Christmas read. You can feel the love coming off the pages between these two. I really liked Billie, she was a strong hard working woman who also had a stubborn streak. Leroy is great, he will capture your heart right away. We get romance, LOL moments and so much more. All of the secondary characters were great. Overall this was a fun read and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Definitely a Christmas series not to miss! A Pink Christmas Kiss is the third book in the Christmas Kiss Series by Allyson R. Abbott. This book follows Billie and Leroy. Billie, a small town girl, moves to the big city to pursue her career aspirations in marketing. Billie left her high school sweetheart, Leroy behind. Billie wasn’t doing so hot with her job and her life wasn’t as she imagined it would be. Then she got word that her dad isn’t doing so well physically and decided that she needed to move back home to help out in the family business. That family business just so happens to be the only mechanic garage in the town. Billie grew up in the business and learned everything from her dad. So Billie’s new aspiration in life was to run the garage so her dad could take a step back. But what about Leroy? Billie also has a surprise waiting for her in the garage when she gets back too and it turns out to be from Leroy. Leroy finds out she is in town and it turns out that he is still angry at her. But of course, you know this is a HEA! This was a really cute book that I could not put down! I loved the characters and the interactions between them all. This is definitely a page turner! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I love this author!

I just went on yet another Allyson R. Abbott reading binge. This time pouring through through her A Pink Christmas Kiss and A Frothy Christmas Kiss. These holiday delights really are, yet again, like the sweetest of chocolates for a choco-holic (which I most definitely am). And that’s not even counting the fact that they are Christmas romances and I totally adore (truly deeply adore) Christmas romances. Read the publisher’s blurb for a perfectly good synopsis of what these stories about that doesn’t spoil anything. I frankly don’t know which story or which couple I loved the most, Billie and Leroy or Kat and Dan, though I’m enough of a coffee addict (hmm, yet another addiction - though it is second to chocolate) that I suppose any tale even remotely related to coffee had to have the edge. These stories both grabbed me by the heart-strings and were a wonder to read. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - each of these books definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that each book is most definitely “one to read”. It is amazingly easy to highly recommend both of them.

I give A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott, 4 stars.

Billie left her small town in the middle of nowhere to get out into the real world of New York City. She was in love, but the big city was calling to her. Besides, if he really loves her, he'll follow her, right? Five years later, she has barely gotten anywhere in her career and she hasn't heard from him since she moved. When circumstances have her moving back home, she knows it is the right choice. But what about him? Is he with someone else? Will it break her heart if he is? Or is there hope?

This is something unlike what I normally see in romances. First of all, she is a mechanic. No girly girl here. I love that! Also, a book being about two people, you really don't see too much of Leroy. He actually shows up very little. I like that because it's different. This is totally about Billie and her struggles. But Leroy is not ignored either, we do learn his side too. The other people in this book also help to make this a great story too. Oh and the pink in the title? Well, you'll have to read it to find out.

A fun, fairly short, clean Christmas romance, I highly recommend reading this book.

A Pink Christmas Kiss is the third Christmas story in Allyson R. Abbott’s Christmas Kiss series. It is a beautiful Christmas romance of second chances that takes place in a small town in the middle of nowhere! You can for sure read it as a standalone.
A Pink Christmas Kiss is the story of Billie who left for the big city lights five years earlier and is now back in her small hometown as her dad was no longer able to continue running his auto shop, and of Leroy who never followed Billie even though that is what she had hoped/assumed/wished for. Leroy was her first love and the guys in NYC never managed to fill the hole he had left in Billie’s heart.
When these two meet again, the connection is still there … it feels as nothing has changed … they do have a rough start though as Billie always seems to be saying something wrong but it is a Christmas story and their love is so strong and … I am sure you can guess the rest! The writer though takes us on this beautiful journey of two people realizing that they are each other ‘the one’ and no matter what happens … Pick up a copy and make yourself a cup of hot chocolate and read away!

Christmas Kiss Series
Book 3
By Allyson R Abbott
☆☆☆☆☆
A Christmas romance story, set is a small town. Great for young adults and those looking for a little romance at Christmas time.

Billie and Leroy and featured in this cute little romance. Billie is a Mechanic in her heart. She loves working on cars. It is her passion. But she moves to the city, in hope of making it big. Leroy on the other hand wanted to follow her. But his home life kept him in the small town. The two fall into their lives and let time get in their way. When Billie’s family brings her home and back to her true love. Working on the beloved cars. Next to her father. Will time away bring Billie and Leroy back together? Then there is The Deuce and the magic of Christmas.

Allyson R Abbott continues her Christmas Kiss romance stories. This is a quick read. Just right for the holiday reading. I love the characters in this book. They are so cute and loveable. It is so nice to see a strong woman, making it in a man's world. Even better that she is respected. I know you will love this story as much as I did. Well done Allyson R Abbott!

A Pink Christmas Kiss
By Allyson R. Abbott

If you do nothing else you must read the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson R. Abbott, you won’t be disappointed. The whole series can be read as standalone stories. A Pink Christmas Kiss is centred around Billie and Leroy. Billie and Leroy had been high school sweethearts and through miscommunication things went wrong. Or did they? This one is probably the cutest and sweetest of all in the series. Billie left everything and everyone she knew and returned home five years later. Billie is now home running her dads shop as he is no longer able to do this task himself. When Billie and Leroy meet up again, they both realize that their connection is still there, as with true love it feels for them both that nothing has changed. But are they wrong? Christmas is a magical time of the year love and romance and the story of Billie and Leroy is no different. As with the other books in the series this one is also a nice quick and enjoyable read. This book is also well written and therefore the story flows nicely. So, get the whole series, it four books in total and get caught up in the magic of Christmas.

A Pink Christmas Kiss is the third book in the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson R. Abbott and she didn’t disappoint, this is another delightful, sweet holiday romance full of the magic of Christmas, family, secrets, miscommunication, small town values, and wonderful characters. This story pulled me right in and made me feel like was reel and I was there. The characters are well written and their chemistry is remarkable and I loved their quirky ways.
Since this is a short story I don’t want to give too much away…..

Shocked to see how much he’s changed, she discovers the real reason he’d couldn’t accompany her to the east.

A Pink Christmas Kiss is book three in the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson R. Abbott. This story was another titillating tale that will both delight and entertain. A fantastic holiday read.

Billie was a character that I did not connect with. I found her a little selfish and immature. She did not or could not think of others until it was too late. She was a mixed up woman in need of a stern talking to to realise not everything can go her way, and that it is ok if it doesn't. Leroy I connected with instantly and always felt that there was more to him than met the eye. He was a deep and complex character, but just wanted a simple life with the one he loved. He was a family man and would do anything for them. Billie did redeem herself in my eyes, and I got the whole melting heart feeling at the end.

A Pink Christmas Kiss was eloquently and emotionally fascinating. High quality writing mixed with a cast of intriguing and realistic characters made for exciting and fulfilling reading. 4 stars.

A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R Abbott

This sweet book is book 3 out of 4 in the in Christmas Kiss series. I love Christmas stories. I get all the warm and fuzzies. In this story, Billie left her small Podunk town for the Big Apple, hoping that the love and light of her life, Leroy, would follow her….long story short…he didn’t. Big egos and load of pride get in the way of finding their happily ever after right then and there.
Five years later, Billie is home to help out her family. She does make the time to meet up with old friends and she runs into Leroy..and discovers that there was a reason behind him not taking the trip East with her.
I love this book. This entire series has been very sweet, sappy and overall adorable. You can easily read this book in one sitting and not lose pace with the characters, stories or details. Recommended for romance novel lovers and those who love seasonal reads.

A great read about trying again. When her father starts to become seriously ill, Billie leaves her career in New York to look after him and his mechanic company. Whilst there back at home, she starts to look at her life differently. When chance bumps her into old flame Leroy, can she follow her heart and do what is right?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Billie figuring out what she wants in life
I loved the sense of a small town with little shops and cobbled streets and sense of community everyone knowing each other. I also loved the contrasts like city and town or office and mechanic or city streets and the garden which was beautifully written.
The only issue I would raise is that there were a lot of long sentences which could be resolved with a variety of sentence lengths to grab the reader at the start. Overall, a great read and I would give it four stars.

“A Pink Christmas Kiss” is the next installment in Allyson R Abbott’s lovely Christmas Kiss series. In this novella, we meet Billie, living in New York and hating all of it but her best friend, Lucy, Billie decides to move home to help her dad in his auto repair shop. With only her new cat and parents to keep her company, Billie immerses herself in the business and repairing an old Deuce Coupe so she can try to keep her mind off the man she left behind five years ago. This was such a nice read! Another wonderful, heartwarming story to keep you entertained on a cold day. Billie is such a great character! She was an impulsive young woman who was too headstrong to see what she should do, but after five years of hard lessons, she comes back a better and wiser woman and I love to see growth in a character like that! So, I give “A Pink Christmas Kiss” four stars as I go to start the final novella, “A Frothy Christmas Kiss!”

A Pink Christmas Kiss is the third book in the Christmas Kiss Series by Allyson R. Abbott. All the books in this series are standalone, but I highly recommend you read the whole series because these book are just what you need to put you in the Christmas spirit. This book features Billie , who let her small town to move to New York City. She left behind her true love, thinking he would follow her to New York. Five long years later the big city was really wearing her down, when she got a call from her father asking her to come home and help with the family business. When she returns she finds that Leroy had his reasons for not following and a lack of communication between the two was a problem. This is a sweet Christmas love story. I loved the fast paced, easy flow of the story, and would recommend this book, series and author.

A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R Abbott is the third book in the series and is full of Christmas cheer.

This lovely tale of Christmas, family secrets and romance is a great holiday read, with this short novella. I love the way Allyson's characters are real and well development. Billie's character is brilliant and well written, she made a decision a long time ago and ruined a great relationship with the love of her life. She was heart broken when he did not follow her but when she moves back to her home town and ruins into said ex boyfriend the sparks fly.

Will Billie be able to forgive him and rekindle the love they gave up years ago, you will have to read and find out.

This is a story of second chances and can be read as a stand alone story. If you enjoy a well written, detailed story I recommend not just this book but all of the stories from this wonderful author.

This is the third Christmas book I've read by this author.
This is a quick read about two high school sweethearts who didn't communicate well at the end of highschool. Each was waiting for the other to make a move when Billie leaves her hometown to pursue a marketing career in the big city.
Leroy and Billie obviously care about each other but neither is willing to deal with what happened in the last 5 years.
I love Billie who is a sassy female pursuing a male dominated career. And Leroy keeping his parents secrets and taking care of them.
What did annoy me is that Billie took the full blame for what occurred over the last 5 years when I think Leroy needed to take some responsibility.
This did wrap up quickly but it was sweet.
I was given this book for an honest voluntary review.

A Pink Christmas Kiss written by Allyson Abbott is book three in the Christmas Kiss Series. This is Billie and Leroys story and it’s a cute one. They were highschool sweethearts and then Billie decided she wanted to move to make a name for herself, only after being gone for 5 yrs it didn’t work out the way she had planned. After moving back and taking over her father’s shop Billie and Leroys have a few run in and secrets start to come out as to why Leroy didn’t leave with Billie. This story is a second chance romance and I loved Billies friend Lucy also she added a nice spin to Billies personality. With everything going on can they rekindle their old relationship and work through the issues they created when Billie left.

A Pink Christmas Kiss By Allyson R. Abbott. These books are just getting better and better. I have absolutely loved them all so far. Are you a fan of Christmas romance stories that give you all the warm and fuzzy emotions? Then pick up this book as well as the authors other ones! From page one of Billie’s story I knew it was a bit different in a good way and that I wasn’t going to be able to put it down until I read the last page. Billie isn’t your typical girly girl and I absolutely love that! This book is filled with her journey back home and the importance of family. I was completely drawn into this story and loved every moment of it. I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it to everyone!

A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is the third book in the Christmas Kiss story. This is the story of Billie and Leroy. Billie left her hometown to go to the big city and left behind her family and her boyfriend Leroy. What happens when she returns home after five years? This is a story that explores the miscommunication between people and how we learn from it. The story is a sweet, small-town romance.
I enjoyed the characters and how Billie had to explore to become herself. I read this so quickly because I wanted to know what and how everything would happen. This is part of a series but they are standalone books and quite enjoyable. If you need a quick Christmas pick up this book will give it to you.
