Author note: This is not a love story, it's a hate story, with so many twists you'll hurt your neck. If you review, please do not post spoilers.

Omg, OMG, O M G!!! If you love dark and twisted books, you need to read this! MInE is one heck of a messed up ride!
Knock me down with a feather duster and tickle my tummy. This was as far from a light and fluffy romance as you can get, but it most certainly cleared a few cobwebs away from my mind and kept me on my toes. In fact, forget the feather duster, I need a mop and super glue to put my brain back in order after this, as I had thoughts firing off in all directions!
MInE really is a hate story and is packed with secrets, lies, grief, anger, jealousy, manipulation and revenge. You know how they say revenge is sweet, well in this book it’s not. It’s an all-consuming messed up obsession that will have your head in a spin.
I feel like I’ve read about three books in one go. Not because of the length, there was just so much going on, shocks and surprises, and so many sides to the characters, I wasn’t sure who to trust, who I liked, who I hated. I’m sure there were far less characters in this book than my mind is currently telling me. This is the kind of book that has you wanting to read it again. To see if you missed something and whether there were clues earlier on in the story.
It was like watching a car crash. You know you shouldn’t look. You pray no one has been hurt. But the human curiosity within you is too strong to resist and you can’t turn your eyes away no matter how hard you try. Next time I think my life is boring, I'm going to remind myself I'm lucky it isn't like the lives of the characters in this book.
MInE has left me wondering how I could LOVE something that was filled with so much HATE. I think I still feel a little bit shell-shocked by the pace and intensity of this book!
If you love dark romance thrillers that are fast paced, twisty, gasp-inducing and have you not knowing what you think of the characters, then I highly recommend you give this a go. I’ve read a few books by this author, but I do believe this may have become my new favourite.
I borrowed this book through Amazon Kindle Unlimited.
Holy smokes this was excellent. It’s fair to say I’m an Andie M Long fan. This isn’t my typical read and when the sign ups for the Audiobook reviews went up I took almost 3 months to fill in the form (Yes I probably almost missed it), but this is the book that shows every once in a while you should read out of your usual genre. This is not a romance story in any shape or form. Looking at the picture I didn’t know what to expect, but there was something about it that made me curious. If this had been on TV show I would’ve snapped it up. The audiobook was as good as being on the big screen.
This is a dark drama with plenty of twists. The suspense kept me hanging onto every word. The narrators voice fit perfectly with this tale. Mine has adult themes and scenes some people may find disturbing.
Melissa thought she had the perfect life. The loving family, married to her childhood best friend and a baby on the way. She was a traditional girl who wanted a simple life. There is only so much one person can take until they can’t take anymore.
Revenge is a dish best served cold. Waiting, planning and living for something more. This story is about three people. Every story is different from a different persons point of view. Let the hate begin.
5 stars out of 5. This is an anomaly for me and I loved it.
* I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I can't remember the last time I read a book that shocked and surprised me as much as this one did! I never saw the twists and curveballs that slammed into me! This book is indescribably ingenious, dark, depraved and oh so delicious! I look forward to reading many more books by this extremely talented author!
4,5. Meu Deus! Que mente brilhante essa autora tem. Nunca li uma história tão louca e tão convincente ao mesmo tempo. Inusitada. Sinceramente, muito bom esse livro! Vale demais a leitura!!!!!!!
I swear this book gave me the best whiplash I have ever experienced from a book. Dark? Tick. Twisted? Tick Depravity in bucketloads? Tick Want to be laughing through the horror of it all? TICK!
Seriously this has got to be one of my absolute favourite dark books of the year so far.
The characters. Oh, I don't even know where to start....Edward....well he's screwed up.
Excerpt: ‘I think therapy will be so much fun. I can’t wait to explore my fucked-up mind with you.’
Melissa, she's a bit bonkers too, but a lot of that is through revenge so it seems a little more understandable *sniggers manically in the corner*...
Jared, Inez, Sam, Selma....they are all characters you meet along this crazy journey that literally has you gagging one minute and laughing the next. It actually drive me to the verge of my sanity but in the best possible way. This author knows no bounds and her sense of humour (or maybe my dark sense of humour!) jut got this story completely.
Excerpt: ‘Selma? You’re fucking deranged.’ ‘I certainly am. Congratulations. You made me this way.’ ‘I don’t know how you keep up with your multiple personalities.’ ‘It’s all an act. I think I’m actually really f*!k#ug clever and that’s what you didn’t bargain for....
This story was split into three parts and for me each part gave a little more insight into our three main characters. The further you get, the more depraved it got. Despite my number of dark reads to date, I had no idea where this story was going but applaud the author for keeping me on my toes from the very first page and taking me three days to write this review. An absolute must read for anyone who loves an amazing but dark tale.
Final excerpt: ‘What do you want, Sam?’ 'Simple,’ I told him. ‘I want to destroy your life. Like you did mine.’
2.5 rounded up to a 3. This story had your head spinning every direction! It seemed a little contrived, but I finished it. Can't say too much more without giving away all the twists and surprises.

When I read an intriguing and twisted thriller like MInE, it worries me quite a bit to realize that I’ve been drawn to and riveted by such a disturbing and warped tale. I was utterly engrossed, enthralled, transfixed and clenching my teeth with tension – yet I couldn’t read fast enough and resented any interruption posed by those endless, time-consuming, and pesky life tasks - like the need for sleep. This gripping tale of revenge consisted of an active storyline packed with a lifetime of dark secrets, shame, lies, and caverns of resentment. The storyline was well-crafted, maddeningly paced, enticing, and ingeniously twisted. I was immediately hooked and flinched, cringed, and gasped my way through as I was loath to put my kindle down – I fear there may be something wrong with me. Andie M. Long has mad skills!
This story is extremely twisty. I've never read anything this. What a freaking page turner. Its extremely dark. I love this book I own this in paperback as well.
I usually do my reviews with a brief info. I'm not going to do that with this book. I can't give anything away. However the dog scene was a bit too much for me. That was my hard limit.
Go into this storey blind. I promise this book won't disappoint.
What a ride this book was! The author specifically asks for no spoilers so I'm going to do my very best here. This isn't a love story. No... this is a story about vengeance, revenge and hate. I found Melissa to be very much like Lana Meyers in The Risk. Something very devastating happened to a young Melissa and her childhood sweetheart, Jarrod. That something was Edward. I will tell you this is about broken love and loss. The twists are shocking and slap you in the face. I could NOT put this book down and as every characters secrets come out and how they all end up, I truly feel the only victim in this story was Bounty. This book is meant for adults and is a page turner. I did feel the ending and fate of the worst victim of all was rushed. I expected more blood and torture for that scene. However, I don't think this is enough for a lesser rating. After all, the characters and the jagged edge storyline are outstanding.
Buy the book and read it. It's worth it. It's a keeper for my shelf.
MinE by Andie M. Long a five-star read that you will not be able to put down. This book was so amazing, I didn’t breathe at times reading it. It was the reading equivalent of having a game of snakes and ladders while playing naked twister, there were so many ups and downs and things you don’t see coming. It’s amazing. I don’t want to give the game away, but what a story of destruction and revenge, it will keep you on the edge of your seat as well as awake at night. If you want a suspenseful, thrilling five-star read then you need this book in your life. Melissa’s story of retribution and ensuring she gets what’s she believes is hers and ruining the person she believes ruined what she saw as MInE. I could go on and fan girl forever about how good this book is, but I don’t think I would every do it justice. Five stars aren’t enough.
Amazing the steps someone will take to eke revenge. I wasn't a fan of this book as at times it read like an excerpt from a diary - I thought I was reading a trumped up version of Tootsie.
Well the author has asked for readers not to give spoilers and I won't but if you venture opening this book just be prepared for one fuK*d up story with an even more fu*Kd up female.
This. Was. Amazing. Unexpected twists and sweet revenge; what more can a girl ask for? A truly dark tale with more twists than a roller coaster, MInE is for those who want to indulge their inner darkside. I read this in one sitting it was so amazing I just lost track of time. Think of it as your guilty little pleasure and pick it up and enjoy it! You won't regret it!
Wow this book messed with my head big time…Andie has blown me away with this book, it is dark suspense and different from anything I have read from her before. I devoured this book I was up till 3 in the morning reading, I could have kept reading if there had been more pages. I going to be a spoiler free review I just going say how it made me feel cause this book I think people should go in blind. And live through these characters.
Melissa is out for revenge, I will not say why or what happens but omg I really didn’t expect what happened to happen I never knew nothing of this book going into it and I was totally shocked. It was fantastic I have never read anything like this one before. I hated some characters in the book but I will say Andie made me feel sorry for them when you read their back stories, but I have to say that was only in parts, again I not going in to details you MUST read this book for yourself.
I loved the story with it twists and turns I was like OMG at parts. I loved Melissa she is a fantastic character. What she gone through to do what she does, I felt for her but such an amazing woman. some of these characters are crazy lol. Andie pulls you into this story and it really doesn’t let you go till the end it will keep you turning pages wondering where the story going to go. For me really like Andie’s writing and I love her books but to date I think this has got to be my Favourite of all her books. Is there anything Andie can’t write.
Yes it is different from any this author has wrote before but trust me you HAVE to give it a try, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
I can tell you that this is not a romance book. And I was ok with it. What this book is a mindfuck thriller. The “heroine” in here is one sick woman. But I sure did enjoyed her revenge. Although I didn’t like how everything else she did I didn’t have any problem with it. The book is NOT SAFE. If you’re into 100% safe I don’t recommend reading this. In the end the villain got what he deserved although I do wish he would’ve died a bloody painful death with everything that he did.
I won’t be spoiling anything this time.

The drive for revenge takes us down many twists and turns in the suspense novel. Melissa is living her dream life until one night it’s all stripped away and as the book description tells us, she knows that one day revenge will be hers. Now, how this all plays out is masterfully delivered by Andie M. Long. You truly have to dive into this book and allow it to wrap its tentacles around you as it grips you to find out what will happen next. I’m still stunned and awestruck at what I just experienced. If you enjoy dark, suspenseful stories that will keep you guessing, this is the story for you. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
Well well well! I certainly was not expecting that! There are so many different parts to this story, so many times i thought i knew what was happening, where it was going. At one point i even thought the book had ended. But everytime, and i mean every. Single. Time. Something new came along, something more twisted, something more surprising. As you read and get deeper into the book it drags you in more and more. This is a powerful story of hate and revenge but also a reminder that things are never what they seem.
This book is definitely unique…I’ll give it that. It’s a smidge all over the place; I’d best describe it as one of those books that you’re so confused you keep reading. There’re several twists, some pretty damn shocking, and some I saw coming. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but it deals with revenge and sexual orientation, and pretty much everyone sucks, so if you’re sensitive to either, or like a “good guy” in your reads… I’d steer clear. For me, I had to DNF because it has the ONE thing that is an absolute no-go hard limit for me. I see why she justified doing it, but I knew I wouldn't get over it, and would never sympathize with her, so I stopped. I’d rather DNF a book than give it a 1* because I don’t like something, or it has content I'm not comfortable with. That’s just how I roll. 😁
I don't even know where to begin. My mind is racing and I am lost for words. I thought Saviour was a bada** dark story but Andie has blew my mind with MIne. I lost count at how many times my jaw dropped and the chills I got. If you like/love dark, thriller, suspense and twist n turns than you have to grab a copy of MIne. I am leaving my review like this, Spoiler free because MIne is worth reading. Around of applause to you Andie. I freaking loved MIne!
I stayed awake to read this book even though I was a little reluctant to read it in the first place. There were a lot of twists and turns which IMO were easy to see coming except for the sibling thing that I was surprised about. This book had me thinking a lot when I was done reading and it seemed like the more I thought about it the more I actually disliked it. One thing I realized is that not one person in the story was likeable except maybe Dave and his first wife, Sandra. Yes I felt sorry for Melissa and what happened to her but IMO she was just as insane as Edward was and Jarrod was a spineless douche. I mean how much of a psychopath are you that you wait for 27 years to get revenge ? I also don't believe for one second no matter how great the surgeon is that he can make a 47 year old woman look in her early 20's. The other thing that really bugged me the more I thought about it was Edward. I feel like if he was really that insane there's no way he could've hid that from Inez for over 25 years or his co-workers for that matter. I think all that shit with his stepmother and his real mother was all added so the reader would hate him and be able to justify what was done to him. I loved the Black Lotus Series by E.K. Blair but I thought Elizabeth/Nina was completely over reacting about her revenge. To me Julz/Sammi in the Gypsy Brothers Series by Lili St. Germain was completely justified in her revenge and I personally loved every minute of it. Melissa/Sam/Selma was a pathetic lunatic that should have been a lot more pissed at Jarrod than she was at Edward, after all he was the one that had something or someone to loose. I almost forgot ; I think if Melissa wasn't such a spoiled, selfish cunt she would have seen all the signs long before it was revealed to her.
I went into this book not knowing what to expect. I heard it was dark, but that was it. And oh man, was it dark! I loved the darkness that dripped from the pages. It was hiding at every turn, and MInE kept me on the edge of my seat, wondering where it was heading.
All the characters were outstanding. Each one plays their own part in this hate story, and that's exactly what it is: a hate story. Sure, there's a tad bit of romance, but the loathing the main character feels outweighs the love. MInE was amazing in that aspect. Hated seeped through and I found myself wondering who to hate. Instead, I found myself feeling sorry for every single person. Each character was fucked up. They each had their unredeemable factors, but they had bits and pieces of their souls bared for others.
I did find two things really predictable, which is why it's four and not five stars. I had one figured out fairly early on. The other was just meh. But... MInE was still full of surprises, and I found myself enthralled in the words.
MInE is dark and powerful, full of hate, yet it speaks of a tale - masterfully written - which proves nothing is what it seems...
