Seriously?

Did not finish.

Not worth it. I left when it started to get soap opera. I should have stopped sooner. But I wanted to give it another try, And was sadly disappointed.

Sexy with an interesting story running through.

Stella Mulroney wants to take down her multi-billionaire stepfather and after two years she's finally got the interview she needs at Gregory & Sons, only problem is she was expecting the job to be for Mr Gregory Senior and not his son Gabriel, who is distractingly hot and surprisingly willing to help her.
This sets the scene it's Stella and Gabe taking up the crusade.
My main problem was I wasn't sure how I felt about these two plus, and I know we don't have all the facts yet but Stella's reasons for revenge seem, well, more like something a bored rich girl would fixate on and not reason enough to ruin someone, but like I said I don't think we've got the full story yet. Also I know the alphabet thing is cute and a different angle for this book it's fun and sexy but there's no way it's going to help Stella infiltrate her stepfather's sex clubs.
The more we read the more we realise there's a lot more to this, it goes much deeper than we thought and while I'm still not completely sold on Stella and Gabe there's enough to keep me interested, the final part of this brings the answers we've wanted plus some surprises, not everything or everybody was what we thought.
Now while I've enjoyed this series it's not been the 5 star read for me that it appears to have been for most people.
The story running through this book was interesting and I think my main problem was I wanted more of that, more of the intrigue and the players and less of Gabe and Stella and their alphabet games.
I'm not a fan of spoiler reviews but I couldn't leave this without one so if you haven't read this book stop now.

This story is about a woman who wants revenge but instead happens upon an altogether different game!

I was engaged from the first line, because it was a statement that warranted explaining.

'Getting sexually accosted in Starbucks wasn't on my to-do list'

We meet Stella; she is initially portrayed as a ball buster, which she is also referred to on more than one occasion by her best friend. We soon get to see that first impressions aren't always accurate and she has not only a softer side but a humorous side too.

I loved the relationship she had with her friend Ronnie; she was hilarious, although there is obviously much more to 'Ronnie's story'.

From almost he beginning I could feel the fire between Stella and Gabe, it's hot, but it's also a push and pull situation, both of them fighting for control, in spite of Gabe being Stella's boss. However it works fantastically.

Gabe and Stella are incredibly entertaining and I find myself falling in lust with them both. Stella is a different kind of heroine and I like it, usually you get either the broken heroine or the superwoman, she is just the right balance, in the middle, making her 'real'. The same can be said about Gabe, just the right amount of Alpha with a dash of vulnerability.

The twists and turn's the author manages to include in the book is incredible, she's able to have so much going on without making you feel like any individual scene has not been given 100% of her time to make it 'just so'.

Every time I get to the next part of the book I know I'm going to be entranced. Every part is even better than the last, if you can believe it, because the characters are developing and so is the story.

As the story developed I fell in love with Gabe and Stella as they were falling in love with each other.

'I look at this complex man and my head reels as I realise I'm completely lost, I can't hold myself back any longer, my guard is down and it's like the chains that bind me have fallen away. He just moves me, I'm lost in him.'

The story is heating up too, bringing a new dislike of Arnie (Gabe's Dad) and fresh news and twists and turns are ever-present which only adds to the book.

Let's also not forget about all that is sexy and off the scale hot about the sex scenes. Put it this way if it doesn't get your juices going, then pinch yourself...because you're dead!

I still love the side characters, they certainly keep things interesting whether you love them or hate them and I still feel some would be great as lead characters in spin off books!

In the final stages we see the answers to all of our questions appear. We learn the full extent of Arnie’s sickness. We see Gabe and Stella’s relationship follow through even more up’s and down’s and secrets come to light that weren’t expected. Some parts of this book are really quite dark, but they need to be, it gives it depth and the storyline conviction.

In case I've not been clear, let me say that this book has sex. Lots of it. In various positions. And it's hot. Seriously hot. Certain parts made me want to climb into bed, draw the curtains, shut the door and have naked time with my BOB. Alternatively wait until my hubby has walked through the door and jump on him scaring the kids in the process! There were plenty of times I had to press my legs together to stop myself getting too overexcited!

I often find books with a lot of sex scenes can be quite repetitive and ultimately boring, well 'ding dong' no such worry with this book!

The book was just the right mixture of raw yet contained, it was paced just perfectly, not rushing the story and explaining details without letting too much information give the 'game' away.

It has a fantastic storyline, lots of sex which is written so well that you find yourself having hot flushes frequently. The interactions between characters leaves you fulfilled, the book is complete, and it holds every aspect you could want. It ticks every box and it makes you feel like reading it has been time well spent.

This book will be in my top 10 books for this year. I devoured it, not one morsel of this delectable book slipped past me, I was so engrossed, so engaged, so completely in their world that I didn't realise it was the end......until it was, then I wanted to scream.

The Alphabet Game - The Complete Series
Andie M. Long

I've had this on my kindle for a while and can't believe I left it so long to read it!

From the very first page I was hooked and the storyline is just WOW.
Stella has been on a mission for several years to find a way to ruin her Stepfather and finally gets a job working with the gorgeous Gabriel Gregory. What she didn't know is that Gabe wants to bring his father down too, so the pair come up with a plan to bring down both of their fathers.

While working on their plan, Gabe wants to play a "game" with Stella and introduces her to the pleasure that he can provide, as the pair work their way through the entire alphabet in some rather steamy sex sessions.

The Alphabet Game is sex, murder, lies, goodies, baddies and twists galore. I would recommend this to anyone. Andie M. Long was a new author to me but I will definitely read more of her books.

The alphabet game by Andie M. Long a supercalifragilistic five-star read. This is the complete Alpha series A to X,Y,Z. Who knew the alphabet could be so much fun and educational. I swear the nuns who taught me in school would be turning in their habits knowing I was re-learning my alphabet in such a manner. Andie M. Long is one of the best comedy writers I have read and she is fast becoming my favourite author of all genres, she seems to be able to turn her hand to anything. This book if hot and funny, full of twists and turns to keep you in suspense, or suspenders depending on what your thing is.
Stella Mulroney has been trying for two years to get a job, not that she needs a one as she has a fully paid up apartment and a healthy allowance from a rich step daddy. But it’s not the money she is after, she has an interview to be a PA for a lawyer at a top London Law firm, the same law firm that handles her step-father’s interests, and she has plans to find out more about those interests as she is convinced that he isn’t on the up and up. Stella wants to bring him down, any way she can. But when she turns up things don’t go to plan as she hopes and she has caught the attention of the of the hot young son of the boss of the firm Gabriel ‘Gabe’ Gregory.
Gabe knows that Stella has a need for revenge, he has a set of his own daddy issues. But Gabe has a better plan for her attention and sets about playing a game with her, the only problem is who will win the game of wits? And who will win the overall game? The children? the adults? Or neither?

Amazing Four part Novellas for this new Indie Author

Part 1 – A to E

Part 2 – F to K

Part 3 – L to R

Part 4 – S to X, Y, Z

The story line is refreshingly different, fascinating - keeping me glued to each of the Novellas from the very beginning. (Yes I read each part without putting them down!) Action packed and extremely hot with frustratingly good cliff hangers at the ends of parts 1, 2 & 3 leading to part 4 which wraps the story up perfectly! The twists and turns take you through all the emotions and at times even makes you laugh out loud!

I liked that each Novella was released only a month after the last one so the story was still fresh in my mind and with the cliff hangers being corkers I didn’t have to wait too long to resolve my curiosities!

The characters are all amazing in their own rights- We have the loveable, relatable, head strong Stella Mulroney who knows exactly what she wants and is determined, with a slight innocent and vulnerable side.

Then we have the super handsome, super sexy Gabriel Gregory who is simply hotness in a tin! Raw powerful masculinity who’s entire demeanour changes when he falls for his lady, making us all swoon!

Without giving too much away there are some other amazing characters within the story, which prove to be essential, my most favourite has to be the hilarious & quirky best friend of Stella, Ronnie. Having her own issues and back story this is a character you are left wanting to know so much more about!

All in all I would recommend this book giving it a 5 star rating. Really cannot wait to see what Andie M Long writes next, her imagination is pure brilliance! ~ D x

Ok, so I'll second everything Donna said and then add that I looooooved it too!
The story was original and who knew the alphabet was such good fun?
I loved the fact that it felt as if you were waiting for another episode of your favourite tv programme, it gave me something to look forward to and I would work my reading list around the next instalment.
I loved Gabe and now I can't walk into a Starbucks without looking around in search of a real life version! ...all I find is old men!!
Very well done Andie! ~ Z x

4.5 Stars!!!

Stella Mulroney and Gabe Gregory explore the Alphabet as they determine a plan to get the retribution they both deserve. Their game uncovers much more than either expected. As things unfold and hearts are tested; will they survival? Are their lives at risk?

The Alphabet Game is intriguing and as HOT as HELL! Although the first few chapters of this book are a steady pace, the story has an underlying factor begging for you to discover it. Without a doubt early on its clear that this book held a lot more than just Stella bringing down her step father; not only was the connection that Stella and Gabe held intriguing enough to carry on; you can feel that there is a twist lying in wait.

Andie M. Long did not disappoint; this story holds many twists and turns, some of which you don't see coming. As the story progressed my love for Gabe developed; at first he had an annoying and creepy factor about him; once we get to know the true Gabe you fall more and more in love with him and his quirky ways. Stella seemed a weak spoilt brat at first, however her true strength and personality soon began to shine and we find a very feisty, brave and down to earth character.

As this story unfolded the wow factor truly intensified; their story is more than a love story, it’s a fight for survival!

Without a doubt this book will leave you all kinds of HOT; the cold shower won’t be enough! Be prepared to need your BOB and maybe even call for back up!

If you love erotica romances with humour, suspense and intriguingly awesome characters you will absolutely love The Alphabet Game by Andie M. Long.

Where to begin? After seeing teasers of this book I was totally expecting sex, sex, and more sex. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of hot, steamy sex but I found myself enjoying the backstory as well. Sometimes I feel that in this genre, authors just throw backstories in for the sake of adding pages. In the case of the Alphabet Game, Andie creates an exciting, believable story that links Gabe and Stella in more ways then one. Speaking of Gabe, how hot is he? I totally picture Mr. Henry Cavill as Gabe. Who care if Gabe isn't British and he's from NY. Stella's character is strong and confident, another thing I liked about this story. Andie doesn't feel the need to make Stella vulnerable, clumsy or a virgin, to make Gabe attracted to her. I love how she took charge in many aspects of their relationship and even put Gabe in his place a few times. As much as I wanted to hate Gabe at times, he was just too hot. I also enjoyed the secondary characters in this story in Ronnie and Col, please Andie, I NEED to know what happens with them after the twist you threw us at the end. I did not see that coming. This story was the whole package for me sexy, sweet, and suspenseful. I would've like the ending to be a little more detailed, but overall this was a great series and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new book to read. I teared up at the end and how Andie brought the whole idea of the alphabet game together. Super sweet. :)

First of all be aware this book is written in British English so if you are reading American English there are a lot of words and slang that you might wonder what is it or means. I personally was lucky enough to have my kindle that I touched it and it told me the British translation so on I went. And i enjoy books that have other country;s wording.

Stella Mulroney finally gets an appointment with Gregory & Son. She is expecting it to be with the senior, Mr Gregory but instead it is with his son Gabe. Gabe ends up hiring her as his PA. Stella wants to work at the company to get the goods on both her father and also Gabe's father because she believes both men are dirty and are running an illegal business behind their legal businesses.

Gabe and Stella are attracted to each other and while they are working on getting the goods on their fathers they decide to play a game of sex by going through the alphabet...starting with A. Gabe gives Stella a dictionary and tells her they will swap off letters he picked A so she goes next.

This was a HOT and Steamy read with a whole lot of mystery and story lines that I did not see coming.

I love the idea of the alphabet game so much think I will try it with my spouse.
Great read first time to read a book by Andie M Long but will not be the last time that is for sure.

This was fun, funny, clever and engaging erotic romance.

Set in London (and NYC), this book uses British slang, and spelling. There are some typos in this (spacing, punctuation, etc), but it doesn't detract from the story.

This is about Stella and Gabe, both with wealthy father figures who have questionable businesses and lack any sort of parenting skills.

Stella's applying for a PA job at Gabe's father's law firm because she wants to learn more about the man who supposedly partners with her stepfather, whom she hates. She wishes to plot revenge against her stepfather for keeping her away from her mother for years after her biological father's death. Gabe has a similar plot, but against his own father, for numerous crimes, one of which is blackmail. Stella and Gabe agree to partner to bring the fathers down... and they also partner in the bedroom, using the Alphabet game. This is a story about sordid businesses, rape and molestation, blackmail, drugs, and murder and the effects on the children of the men who engage in this behavior.

This has good pacing and relatively strong female lead. Despite the fact that it's chock full of sexy scenes, I think the sex scenes could have been a tad hotter.

A Review of The Alphabet Game (The Complete Alpha Series, A to X, Y, Z) by Andie M. Long

Bringing down the bad guys isn't always easy or safe - 4 stars

This was a freebie that I picked up from one of the many emails I get about free books. I was happy to see that it was the whole collection and not just the first section that was free and then the other sections would be extremely expensive for short books that you want to read to find out how the series ends. I was able to read the entire thing within a 24 hour period and enjoyed it for the most part.

It did seem like there were quite a few grammatical and editorial issues that threw me off a little, but I truely fell in love with Stella and Gabe. There were a lot of tears shed due to some of the atrocious activities perpetrated by Gabe's father. It was an eye opener to find out why Stella's stepfather had her sent to boarding school. The main characters and several of the secondary characters were well developed and lovable. I wouldn't mind seeing more of these characters in further books.

We watch as all hell breaks loose and everything is not as it seems.. I couldn't stop reading until I was finished. A story about revenge, we are introduced to Stella and Gabe. Stella is prepared to do anything to bring her stepfather down and lands the perfect job to be Gabe Gregory's PA. Gabe Gregory is the son of Stella's business partner and she is sure this is where she will find the dirt to expose her stepfather.

Instantly attracted to each other, Stella and Gabe begin an affair where Gabe introduces the Sex alphabet game. Together they share sexual pleasures and with the help of Gabe, Stella starts to unearth startling facts about both her step father and Gabe's own father which puts their own lives as well as their love ones in danger.

Suspense, mystery, danger, sex, this book has it all and the bonus for me was that it was set in my home town of London!

I loved reading The Alphabet Game. It was very enjoyable from the start and I was completely hooked on the story line. Gabe and Stella were fabulous characters and I especially liked Stella’s best friend Ronnie. She was very funny. Gabe and Stella start off as just sexual partner and I love the idea of the Alphabet Game where they work their way through the alphabet choose a sexual word for each letter and carry out something to do with that letter. Very funny and pure class. There is a lot going on regarding pasts especially when then come back to haunt the present. Absolutely fantastic and I’m so happy I had the opportunity to review. Can’t wait to read more Andie M Long.

The Alphabet Game

4 stars

This was such an unusual and unique read. Sexy, sassy and steamy! I actually found myself trying to guess the words as they worked their way through the alphabet in compromising positions.

There's lots of LOL moments. Lots of knicker wetting moments and then lo and behold, shock factors.

It was such an interesting plot and a breath of fresh air to read something out of the box with plenty of twists and turns. I loved Ronnie and her quirkiness. Everyone needs a friend like her.

This is the complete series, and I must say that I was not disappointed in this story in the least. Stella and Gabe are both out for revenge, and team up together using the alphabet to complete this task. This story is full of suspense, and smouldering hot sex. I was hooked from the very beginning, and loved all the intrigue, and banter throughout this story.
This is a well written storyline which flows well. Looking forward to reading more of this authors work and I recommend her work for all readers!

I read this after hearing a friend rave about it and I wasn't disappointed. Gabe and Stella are both out for revenge but is one of them seeking revenge on the wrong person? This book has enough suspense to keep you hooked and lots, and I mean LOTS of hot sex so if that's not your thing for some unknown reason then this won't be for you. With a story that flows well and good characters this is an excellent debut from Andie Long

I absolutely loved this story from start to finish. Stella believed her stepfather was keeping her away from her mother, so she got herself a job working for his partner. There she meets Gabe. This book is full of Hot sex, and suspense. I'm sad to see it end. I finished reading it in a day and a half, because I just didn't want to put it down. This was an amazing book, really well thought out and written. It grabbed your attention from the first page. You have everything you need for a steamy read with a great story line too, there was a lot of imagination put into certain letters of the alphabet and it definitely paid off. A brilliant yet very amusing book. Would recommend to anyone (even the mother in law).

To be honest, I felt parts of the story were a little all over the place. The characters and dialogue didn't always come across as believable, but for some reason I was hooked. At first it felt like a book that concentrated more on the sex than the actual story, but I have come to realise that the basic story itself was incredibly good and addictive.

I really wanted to like this book.

I think the huge thing for me was the language barrier. This book is British. With British sayings, mannerisms, slang, etc. I had a hard time understanding/translating the humor and quirks. If you are familiar with His dialect, you probably will really enjoy the book.

How do I described this?

I just don't know what to say. The characters were ok. Nothing special about either of them. Introducing her mom as a submissive then not really dealing with it was basically just shock value. I liked the mystery aspect. It was an ok book, some people will love it and others won't.
