I made a deal with my brother a long time ago to never date his teammates.
Technically, Rowan Landry, the hot as hell center for the Chicago Falcons, is no longer my brother’s teammate. Or his best friend. Their college days are long behind them, and they barely talk now.
Also, I’m not dating him—we’re just sleeping together. There’s a difference.
Except there’s not a lot of sleeping going on, and neither one of us wants to stop what we’re doing.
It’s all fun and games until my brother is traded to the Falcons, because Rowan doesn’t know I’m the new goalie’s little sister. Oops.

looking for a sweet and spicy hockey rec? throw in some forbidden love and tension because he’s her brother’s friend and teammate? yeah I ate this one up.
I loveeee when books start off with a one night stand, and Rowan and Kyleigh really started off strong. The mistaken identity and tension was delicious.
Rowan is a reformed player and he was down BAD for Kyleigh. The banter was so so good and all the side characters have me so excited for the rest of the series.
🎧 the audiobook was PHENOMENAL. We got a full cast of narrators and duet narration, which is by far my fav way to consume audiobooks and boy did I. I listened to this in one sitting and could not put it down. This was my first audiobook with Sean Masters and he did such a great job with Rowan. And Erin Mallon was such a perfect Kyleigh.
thank you so much Piper & Rayne for the chance to read and listen early! happy release day 💖
what to expect ⟢ best friend’s sibling ⟢ hockey romance ⟢ mistaken identity
Okay, I did not expect to love this hockey romance as much as I did, but WOW!! From the very first chapter, I was totally hooked. The chemistry between Kyleigh and Rowan was fantastic. I loved how they grew as individuals while helping each other heal from past traumas. And let’s not forget the spice—Piper Rayne definitely know how to keep things interesting!
Plus, the banter between the guys at The Nest was hilarious. I’m already dying for their stories next! I also got a kick out of Kyleigh's brother finding out about their romance. That whole scene had me secretly loving the drama, though I was a bit annoyed with how he reacted. But no worries, everything turned out great in the end.
I was super lucky to receive both the audio version and the ebook. And let me just say, the full cast audio made it even better. It really brought all the characters to life.
If you’re a fan of hockey romance, you absolutely need to grab this book and keep an eye out for the rest of the series! It’s a total must-read!

Mr. Heartbreaker the start of the new The Nest series by Piper Rayne. And those two girls did not disappoint with this gorgeous and addictive book! This book was such a joy to read and I loved every second of it.
Kyleigh and her friend Alara are at a wedding. They are about to leave. Kyleigh just caught her mother cheating on her father a few hours before and she is absolutely gutted. The ladies spot Rowan Landry. A hot and talented hockey player. Kyleigh eyes him as he eyes her back. She hears the voice of her older brother Conor in her ear. Don't date my teammates. But her brother plays for another team so it doesn't technically count. And the pain that is about to overwhelm her makes her brave and she walks into his direction...
She introduces herself as Leigh. She doesn't want him to connect her with her brother. They instantly have this insane chemistry. And they make a pact, this will be one night and night one only. And they absolutely make every second count. And when Rowan wakes up, he feels like shit that she is gone. He pulls himself together and together with his friends and teammates he goes for breakfast. And low and behold who sits there in that same diner.
And that is what kickstarts this story. They enter in this only sex sort of relationship. Which obviously doesn't work. I just loved seeing them fall in love. I loved seeing them evolve.
I adore Kyleigh's character arc. How seeing her mother cheat impacts her hugely. She is lost and trying to find her way. She doesn't believe anymore and is trying to keep her heart out of the relationship with Rowan. I love how she evolves and strengthens herself.
Little Bodhi is by far my favorite character in this book! There is one scene that had me laughing out loud. He has such a great presence amongst all the adults and he is just bloody adorable and perfect. Love him to pieces.
If you are a Piper Rayne fan then you must read this new series of them! And if you love a feel good romance with lots of spice, then give this one a go! I'm sure you will love it.

“You snuck up on me.” “You did, too. At a time when I didn’t believe in love or forevers."
✨️Let me start by saying that if you are an audiobook person, you should definitely give this a listen! I absolutely loved the ensemble cast of this book! The story had me captivated from the beginning. Kyleigh knew who Rowan was from the start, but Rowan didn't realize who she was. She decided it would be fun to hook up with Mr. Heartbreaker, because she could use a little fun and why not, right? This wasn't an insta love. It was an insta attraction. I loved the chemistry between them. The banter was excellent from the very beginning. I found myself laughing out loud multiple times. I loved all of the side characters, especially the hockey team members who live at the Nest. I can't wait for the next book in the series. We get a little snipit of who is in the next book in the epilogue, and I'm just so excited!
If you love a sports romance, I'd definitely recommend you give this a read.
Thank you, Piper Rayne, for allowing me to listen/read and review! I'm going to go back and read some of your other work until the next book comes out! ❤️❤️
This story immediately sucked me in. It was kinda funny because I also had a wedding to go to the day I was reading this. Sadly, there was no Rowan there to make the ending as fun as this, but it was still a good time.
I had a great time with the beginning of this romance. The clandestine meeting at a wedding of a mutual acquaintance, though for Kyleigh it's more of an obligation on behalf of her mother. But running into her brother's college teammate, now a player for the Falcons, is just too good of an opportunity to pass up on.
Their chemistry is instant and since Rowan doesn't remember her, she was only a kid when he saw her last, Kyleigh lets the evening end in a One Night Stand. She doesn't think she'll have to see him again and her brother never has to know.
But after their night of mind-blowing sexual chemistry and connection, Rowan is not ready to forget her. Kyleigh thinks she has escaped an awkward morning after encounter, only to run into him at a pancake restaurant a few hours later! Rowan takes this as a sign and soon they are in bed together again. Which leads to more and more. Now she's in too deep and it might be too late to come clean. Which should be fine... until her brother gets traded to the Falcons. Oops!
This had a bit of comedy, wonderful characters, and plenty of hot and heavy moments. I was a little unsatisfied with the length of the secret being kept. It seemed like such a small thing to be made into such a big conflict. There were enough other things to work through and I lost some respect for Kyleigh when she wouldn't just put on her big girl heels and open her mouth.
This was a Full Cast production in Duet Style. Led by Sean Masters & Erin Mallon featuring JF Harding, Connor Crais, Troy Duran, Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom. I can't recommend this audio highly enough. Such a great listening experience.
4 stars 4 on the spice scale

*Thank you to Valentine PR and the authors for an ALC of this title.*
Piper did such an amazing job writing this!!! ! I haven’t read a Secret Identity trope in so long and this was SO FREAKING GOOD! I love when I pick up a book and instantly know that I’ll be sitting down for awhile and not putting it down 😂
Rowan has made it on my list of book boyfriends that Im obsessed with. Jeez that man… and that mouth 🫠 I don’t think she could have wrote a more perfect FMC than Kyleigh for him to fall for. They’re such a great match and I found myself giggling so much through out each chapter. I think I highlighted the whole scene of them outside with the fire trucks because I couldn’t stop laughing 😂
Also… be prepared for lots and lots of spice… and even more spice. With a dash of romance 😉 The bathroom scene is HOT 🥵

READ THIS BOOK!!!
Thank you Piper for the ARC! OBSESSED with this book!!
Kyleigh is a fashion designer working with her mother and she's been around hockey all her life because her brother is a professional hockey player. When she encounters a friend of her brother's, hockey center Rowan Landry, he doesn't recognize her and the chemistry is off the charts. Reeling from the shock of seeing her mother cheating earlier that day, Kyleigh initiates a one-night stand with Rowan. The one-night stand turns into a regular sex-only relationship, but both of them catch feelings almost from the beginning. All of which becomes a problem when Kyleigh's brother gets traded to the team that Rowan Landry is on.
Let's get the good parts out of the way. The central relationship is great and the chemistry between the leads clearly comes off the page. The audiobook narration is superb and features a who's who of popular romance narrators in an ensemble cast. I assume each narrator will get a major role as the Nest series continues. The overall setup of the Nest series is also well-established in this first book. I also really liked Rowan as a lead.
My problem with this is Kyleigh, who's meant to be 25. Except a lot of the time she comes off as a lot younger than that (which makes the intense sex scenes a bit uncomfortable to read). That may well be intended as part of her character, as both her mother and brother treat her as a lot younger than 25. She actually reminds them both of her age several times, but frankly, I get why she needs to, as the way she's written, she comes off as very immature. I'll get into why under spoilers (they're relatively mild spoilers):
tl;dr She's staggeringly immature, making weird decisions and preoccupied by a personal life that has more to do with YA drama than the very real difficulty of living as an adult. I found her incredibly frustrating.
Rowan Landry is known as Mr. Heartbreaker, but Kyleigh knows him best as her brother’s college teammate. It’s been years and Rowan is now playing professionally in Chicago. When he doesn’t recognize Kyleigh, she gives in and decides to have one night of fun. And only gives him the name of Leigh.
Except what was only supposed to be one night turns into more and more nights (and days) of fun. But as the time passes, Kyleigh realizes that she’s running out of time to tell him who she really is. This is such a fun and spicy read, and the chemistry between Rowan and Kyleigh was off the charts!
Their banter was so much fun, and I also loved all of their friends. I’m loving this fun start to this new series! I spy a single dad in my future, and I cannot wait! 😏
🎧: I listened to the audiobook, and it was such a fun time. This was my first audio with Sean Masters, and he did a phenomenal job as heartthrob Rowan, and Erin Mallon, as always, was absolutely delightful as Kyleigh. But peep the graphic, because this duet narration was enhanced by a whole ensemble cast for all of their friends. It was an absolute delight!

Thank you so much to Piper Rayne and Valentine PR for my advance listener copy!
This book was fantastic! The characters felt real and their choices were believable. The narration in the audiobook was. Full cast and it was fabulous! Well acted and thoroughly entertaining.
Okay, but first… let me plead with you that if you are able to listen to this on audio… DO IT! it’s full cast narration and it’s everything!
But if you can’t listen, this book is Avery bit as good being eyeball read as well! I love this new series! I’m so hooked on the guys from the NEST and Rowan and Kyleigh started off this series the right way.
🩵 One Night Stand 🩵 Professional Hockey Player 🩵 Teammate’s Sister 🩵 Hidden Identity 🩵 He Falls First
Kyleigh and Rowan’s meet cute was a ton of steamy fun, and I was hooked on them right away. It was meant to be one night, and then it turned into so much more. Only problem… he doesn’t know she is his teammate’s little sister.
This book was swoony, spicy in all the right places and Rowan was a top tier book boyfriend. I loved Kyleighs growth and journey throughout this book and was screaming when her actual identity came out!
The side characters added so much to this story and I need them all! This was a fun, quick read (listen) and I enjoyed every moment of it.
Really not that great. They were having sex and then he finds out she lied about her identity and then six days later they’re confessing their love for each other.
The side characters and main characters weren’t interesting or like able (besides Henry) and the plot was super boring. All they did was have sex and then have a relationship. Also the FMC never decides what she wants to do with her life, so idk how she’s making a living (she literally says she’s buying a bar, her brother says that’s crazy, she gets mad because she knows what she’s doing, and then literally gets bored of it two days later).
It was just really bland and boring and nothing was like able or kept your attention.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I fell in love with Piper Rayne's books with another series, but I was sure I would also enjoy other kind of books written by them. So I signed up for this one and thanks to Valentine Pr and them, I got the chance to read this e-ARC🩵. Thank you!
Kyleigh is the little sister of Connor, a hockey player, who didn't like his sis to date his fellow teammates. So, this rule has been in stamped Ky's mind for a while, until one night, when she meets Rowan at a wedding. Because she had a pretty bad day, after finding out an awful thing about her mother, Ky decides to go ahead and chase Rowan, even though he was a hockey player. He wasn't teammate with her brother, so where was the harm in that?
So, Ky and Rowan become strangers with benefits, but in order for this to happen, Ky had to tell Rowan a different name, so he wouldn't connect her to her brother. This will only bring her problems, but she is willing to accept them in order to continue this beautiful thing they've started. Of course this couldn't be easy for them and it gets complicated when her brother will actually become Rowan's teammate.
Well, I can tell you that this story had maany steamy scenes, which, I guess, are the main theme of this book. I liked that we had the chance to get to know the characters too, with their faults and strengths. I enjoyed the sweet parts, the funny ones and especially the ones where the other hockey players where present. Both Ky and Rowan had some issues to overcome, which affected them a lot as individuals, but they needed to work them out in order to accept that life isn't always pink.
I'm glad that I got the chance to read the first book of this 'The Nest' series and I'm already super excited about the next book. The ending gave us a little hint about what's going to be about and I really cannot wait🥰.
What to Expect: - Hockey Romance - Brother's Teammate - Close Proximity - He Fall First - Hidden Identity - Secret Romance - Forbidden Love - One Night Stand Turned Fling
Mr. Heartbreaker is a fun start to a new series by Piper Rayne. Rowan Landry, the charming center for the Chicago Falcons, meets Kyleigh Nilsen at a wedding, and their connection is instantaneous. Despite knowing his reputation as "Mr. Heartbreaker," Kyleigh (using the alias Leigh) decides to have what begins as a one-night fling with Rowan. The next morning, Kyleigh slips away before Rowan wakes up. Unable to get enough, they end up in a friends-with-benefits situation. Things get complicated when Rowan becomes teammates with Kyleigh's brother, Conor. Rowan and Kyleigh were so cute together. Their chemistry was off the charts, and the banter was top-tier. This is not a slow burn, and this story has no shortage of heat. I struggled with Kyleigh's decision-making, but there was some character growth, and she redeemed herself. I loved the teammates! They added humor to the story, and I can't wait to read the rest of this series.
Narration: This was such a fun audiobook! The full cast includes Erin Mallon, Sean Masters, JF Harding, Connor Crais, Troy Duran, Teddy Hamilton, and CJ Bloom. This superstar lineup was fantastic. Erin Mallon and Sean Masters provided the perfect voices for Kyleigh and Rowan in duet-style narration. They all brought the characters and story to life, making this audiobook easy to finish in one sitting. This was an amazing listening experience. I highly recommend reading and listening in tandem.
Thanks to Piper Rayne for the advanced reader and listener copies. Opinions expressed are my own.
This book had me immediately hooked to the point that I kind of low key wanted to abandon all of my adult responsibilities.
I loved how this book started off with Rowan and Kyleigh meeting at a wedding. Their sexual tension and chemistry was palpable. Kyleigh knew who Rowan was from the moment she spotted him and she went after what she wanted. But she gave Rowan a fake name because she didn't want him to know that she was the little sister of his teammate. They agreed to one night of fun but when Rowan wakes up to an empty bed he realizes he wants more. So when he sees Kyleigh at breakfast, he sees it as his opportunity to ask for me.
I loved every single thing about this book! I loved everything about the plot. It kept me interested and wanting more. But I also truly loved Kyleigh and Rowan. Separately they are both dealing with some trauma and seeking each other to forget and heal. But what ends up happening, is not only do they help each other heal but they also develop this friendship which blossomed into a healthy relationship. But I loved how Kyleigh's brother found out about her with his teammate.
So if you are looking for a hockey romance add this one to your TBR! I promise that you will love this plot, the characters and the world building that sets up the rest of this series!

* I would like to personally say THANK YOU to Piper Rayne for allowing me the pleasure to read Mr. Heartbreaker as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts, opinions and review.
Mr. Heartbreaker is the start of a new series by author duo Piper Rayne and this is a brother’s best friend (and teammate), secret relationship/hidden identity, hockey romance!
Kylie and Rowan meet at a wedding and end up sharing a night together. It was supposed to be just one night but quickly they both kinda keep wanting more. It’s complicated because she has known who he is from the moment they ran into one another, he played hockey with her brother years ago, but he doesn’t realize who she is. Another layer to the deception complications is that she gives him a fake name and then her brother ends up transferred to the same team as the hero and she keeps it a secret from both of them! She doesn’t tell her brother she’s seeing his friend/teammate and she doesn’t tell Rowan she’s his friend/teammate’s sister. Of course we all know that’s going to blow up in her face and it does!
This one was okay, I wasn’t super drawn into the story or characters. I’ve tried a handful of books from this author duo now and I can definitely say I enjoy their P Rayne titles more. But this was an easy audiobook listen with a full cast! Duet narration of Erin Mallon and Sean Masters, featuring Connor Crais, Teddy Hamilton, JF Harding, CJ Bloom, and Troy Duran! I received an audio ALC, all thoughts in this review are my own.
This was a sweet meet cute! I read this book in a few hours because it was such a fun and easy read. I’m obsessed with hockey romances to begin with but love when they have the funny banter and it’s even better when it’s a brother’s best friend/ teammate trope like this one! The tension, the spice, the connection was all perfection!
I’m so excited for the next series and can’t wait for Henry’s story. I absolutely adored his son and am excited to see more of that personality come through!
🌟 Hockey star MMC 🌟 Fashion designer FMC 🌟 Supposed to be a 1 night stand 🌟 Brother’s best friend/ teammate 🌟 Banter
This book pulls you in right away as Kyleigh and Rowan meet at a wedding, leading to an unforgettable one-night stand. Kyleigh knows that Rowan, now a famous hockey player, was once her brother's best friend, but Rowan doesn't recognise her. Thinking she will never run into him again, she introduces herself as "Leigh" to keep from revealing who she is. However, they unexpectedly run into each other the next day. And over the following weeks, with the sexual tension between them never fading, they keep hooking up, insisting that it's nothing serious and purely physical, while Kyleigh continues to go by her shortened name.
Both Kyleigh and Rowan are dealing with their own traumas, but instead of confiding in each other, they seek each other out as a way to escape. Eventually, though, they realise that they need each other not just for distraction, but for healing. That is, until her brother returns to Chicago to join Rowan's hockey team, and her time to reveal who she really is has run out.
There are a few side characters who are a great addition to the story, and we’ll be seeing more of them in future books. I already can't wait for Henry’s story! With witty banter, moments that tug at your heart, and plenty of spice, this book is a must-read for any sports romance fans!
I’m a huge fan of Piper Rayne. I loved the Plain Daisy Ranch series and was so excited to receive the ALC arc for this one. Being a Minnesota gal, who doesn’t love a good sports romance when it’s hockey! So this was definitely a fun one. And the spice level. Prepare yourself…there is plenty of it!!
The audio had a full cast and it really brought the characters to life. I’m always a fan of narrator Sean Masters…his voice is like butter…just melts in your mouth!
Rowan, a professional hockey player meets Leigh (the name she gives him, a.k.a Kyleigh) who has a brother that plays on the same hockey team. She gives him the name to keep her identity hidden from her brother finding out they’ve met. Their first meet-cute moment at a wedding was fun and flirty and started out with a bang…literally!
I loved his teammates and all their dynamics and so excited to hear all of their stories especially Tweetie. He just seems like a good time! So many fun characters I can’t wait to keep reading more!

I finished this hilariously sexy look in less than 24 hours. I’m pretty sure that Piper Rayne put drugs in this book because I became an absolute fiend.
Not only were these two characters absolutely feral for each other, but also the constant emotional reassurance was so refreshing. I also loved at the FMC was a no confrontation type of gal, especially when it came to her brother and Rowan. I honestly was hoping that she would buy the bar because that keg scene was HOT! I want some more of that.
Not gonna lie I definitely wish my one night stands became my future love of my life, but unfortunately, I don’t live in a romance book written by Piper Rayne.

Rowan Landry is my favorite book boyfriend! The way he falls for Leigh and then has breakfast with her after they meet 😍 this man is literally perfect!! This ALC WAS EVERYTHING I LOVED IT SO MUCH!! Thank you valentines pr and piper Rayne for the early copy!!
This book was so cute, lots of spice if you are looking for it. A little family drama but it was super light in that regard. They kept it from overwhelming the whole book. Rowan and Leigh both swore that they weren't going to let themselves fall, but of course they did and it was adorable. I can't wait for all the other books in this series, I loved meeting a new set of guys, and they are hockey players!
"I read all the hockey blogs and posts. Sue me. It’s only to make sure no one is talking shit about my brother, who plays for the Florida Fury. No other reason. Especially not to read about other hockey players and their reputations. Definitely not."
Ky(leigh) meets Rowan at a wedding and immediately knows that he's one of the newly-traded star players on Chicago's NHL team. But she can't reveal who SHE is, because her brother is an NHL player as well. Kyleigh just found her mom up to no good and is having a terrible night, so what's one night with a "stranger"?
This is my first book from Piper Rayne that I've read and I think I've fallen in love with their writing. The spice was immediate and sprinkled throughout with a pretty heavy hand, but felt natural for the "arrangement" Kyleigh and Rowan had. LOVED the growth of the two characters and how their past ties into their love for each other. Excited for the next book because we got plenty of hints and backstory as to who will be in it...
Thank you Piper Rayne for an ARC copy! ------------- Some other quotes & things. Spoilers ahead:
"Let him go, Kyleigh. Just leave. Go home and masturbate to him if you need"
"Three hours later, I soften inside her, and she falls off me and onto her back, both of us catching our breaths." (THREE HOURS???? HELLO?!!?!?!)
"No wonder he’s Mr. Heartbreaker. He’s breaking hearts because he’s too good at this sex thing, and those women are probably mourning the loss. I’ll probably cry when this is over too."
"“I’m gonna head home to Alaska first.” “Had enough sunlight?” He chuckles. “Yeah, and the Chicago winter isn’t cold enough for me.”" (EXCUSE ME, CHICAGO NATIVE HERE AND IT GETS REALLY COLD PLS WHAT)
"I hate that I have to ask her the next question because though I could sculpt her pussy from memory, I have no idea how she supports herself. “What did you go to school for?”" (I'm sorry but this is worded SO FUNNY)
"“Hate to break it to you, but permanent pussy is pretty much a girlfriend,” Conor says."
"He huffs. “That was different. Like I said, we were young, and she had dreams she’d never fulfill alongside me trying to fulfill mine in hockey. My parents died young, and I was raised by my grandparents.” “Shit, I’m sorry.” I frown. He nods. “Yeah, but my grandparents enrolled me in the Big Brother Big Sister program, and Reed, the big brother who was assigned to me, took an active role in my upbringing. I was lucky to have him. I’m not sure where I was going with this…oh yeah, she’s his stepdaughter and was my best friend until our teenage hormones took over.” He chuckles, but it’s forced. He clearly loved the girl. He pats me on the back. “Anyway, if you want to talk it out, I’m here. Regrets can live with you forever, but if you take the chance and fail, at least you know the outcome. That’s what got me through this process of finding a spot in the league. I didn’t want to let her go, but I would’ve regretted her staying here and never figuring out the person she was meant to be.” (aweeeee)
“Six years ago, I saw my mom with another man at a hotel bar. I confronted her, and she told me it was a mistake and that she was wrong to risk her marriage. Guess what? Here we are six years later, and she did it again. Like I said, a leopard doesn’t change their spots.”
“We’ll weather the storms together and appreciate the rainbows after.”
“That’s her,” Rowan whispers in my ear. “Who?” He smiles at Henry. “The one he let go so she could find herself. Seems like she’s found him now.” (OMGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I have been looking forward to THE NEST SERIES for a while now. At the same time, some of you may be new to Piper Rayne's books; others, like me, have been around for a while and have been anxiously awaiting some characters getting their stories, and we will get one of my most anticipated ones later in this series. This book is the story of Rowan Landry, a hockey player for the Chicago Falcons, and Leigh (Kyleigh) Nilsen, a bridal gown designer and the sister of Connor Nilsen, a player on the Florida Fury Hockey Team.
Piper and Rayne didn't pull any punches with this one; check it out: They had a great meet-cute, mirror sex, fantastic banter, he buys her her favorite iced coffee on the regular, she wears his jersey, and what started as an ONS turns into a fling turns into more. See what I mean?
**I have voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book that I received from the author when I placed a preorder for a paperback bundle. You can find me here: Nadine Bookaholic's Links
This book was a fun read despite some of the issues I had with it.
It was on the shorter side so everything moved pretty fast, especially at the start. I felt like there wasn’t enough time to dive deeper into the characters, especially the MMC. I mean he was sweet and I liked that he fell first and hard, but we just don’t know much about him. And so, he came off as rather one-dimensional. There was more development with the FMC Kyleigh though.
As for the romance, it was a bit too insta lovey for me and the smut overshadowed the story at times, but the chemistry between the two leads was still pretty good. I became invested in them as a couple by the end.
All in all, this was a quick and easy read and I will be checking out the next one!
I fell in love with the characters of this novel. I loved the romance & spice for sure, but the characters made it that much more enjoyable. The author's did a great job of balancing tough topics (childhood abuse, trust issues, divorce, etc.) with healing journeys for each character that has been through tough times. I appreciated the realness of Kyleigh & Rowan's family struggles as it made them that much more relatable. The side characters (Henry, Tweetie, Ruby, etc.) helped with the humor & the reality checks that were needed as well. Found family is a favorite trope of mine & it is all over The Nest. Definitely want to continue with this series!
Great start to a brand new series. I loved seeing some familiar faces and places but with new characters to fall in love with. Kyleigh and Rowan’s story was just what I was looking for….brothers friend, insta attraction, secret identity, hockey player…loved all the tropes! I loved the friendship Kyleigh formed with Ruby which just added to the story. I can see so many great books coming from the guys in The Nest!
