I won this book for free on the Goodreads giveaway! I was so excited to win this book! I love dehydrating anything and everything, I’m also still a beginner, so this book was definitely worth reading for me and my future homestead life. I already got my dehydrator going as we speak.
The reason for the four stars instead of five is because I’ve yet to try these methods or recipes and have no experience with dehydrating foods. Everything sounds good and the pictures are amazing, but until I try it, I’ll stick with four stars.
I was gifted a food dehydrator because of my love of banana and apple chips. I’m hoping to save some money and make the chips a little sweeter. I’m also interested in beef jerky since a particular meat stick company stopped making theirs and I haven’t found any to match the taste. Wish me luck.
