Ryan Wild thought he had everything he could ever want. A billionaire before thirty, he’s finally
moved back home to Bitterroot Valley, built a beautiful house on his ranch, and has
recently adopted a teenage boy that has brought nothing but joy into his life. The only thing that’s been missing is the feeling of Polly in his arms since their incredible night together months ago. Memories of her touch aren’t nearly enough to satisfy him, and Ryan will do anything he can to make her his.

Polly can’t forget the one night she spent with Ryan all of those months ago, but she understood that it was a one-time deal. Yes, she still thinks about the sexy billionaire cowboy and his strong arms wrapped around her, but she’s a busy woman, with a thriving clothing shop and a group of friends that keep her on her toes. When you add in a house that always needs repairs, Polly’s days and nights are completely full. But when Ryan starts coming around, tempting her with that killer smile, heated bedroom eyes, and generous gifts, how is she supposed to stay away from him?

Polly knows how important the bond between father and son is and feels guilty for taking
some of Ryan’s attention away from Jake, especially when Ryan whisks her away to Paris for
the romantic vacation of her dreams. And just when the three of them start to settle in together, where Polly, Jake and Ryan start to feel like a family, she starts getting warnings and prank phone calls. Someone wants to come between them and their growing relationship.

The love they share is beyond their wildest dreams, but when danger lurks, will they be torn apart forever?

I knew I was going to love Ryan Wild. Already the moves I saw him make in previous books had me thrumming with excitement for his story. The little tease of him and Polly in Chasing Wild just amped that up for me.

Ryan Wild is our Billionaire in the family and he hasn't been back in Montana for too long. Yet he has been making big changes since he moved home and started his own ranch. He still is a cowboy at heart and it's great to see him get back to his roots. He might have security and a private plane, but he is country in his veins. Haha!

He also became a dad not too long ago, adopting an orphan and troubled teen, Jake, who fell for the horses at Ryan's ranch and never wanted to leave. This was so heartwarming to see and there's just something extra special about a man who adopts a child. Because he doesn't have to, ya know?

Then we have Poppy, who owns a cute little clothing shop in town. She is also the sister of Ryan's best friend. She's known Ryan all her life and having him back in the area is definitely distracting. Especially when she remembers their one night together and wonders why he didn't call.

Thankfully, the misunderstanding doesn't last long and I loved watching Ryan woo her and prove he is serious about her. He's a great dad, a wonderful boyfriend, and a caring son. He gets a gold star let's just say. And the dirty talk on this boy... my LAWD!

The suspense element of this one was a bit odd.. I would have preferred that we just.. didn't.. ya know? It felt very show horned in and I don't think the story needed it. But it was a strong enough romance that I was pulled in.

I also listened to this and the narration was stellar, as always. Performed by Jason Clarke and Maxine Mitchell. Which just made the story fly by.

I really love this series and I'm so excited for the next couple. I am also crossing my fingers that by the end Jake is a grown up and we get his romance. Please, Kristen?

I believe this is my new favorite book of this series. I am utterly obsessed with Ryan, Polly, and Jake.

Ryan Wild is a newly single dad, who owns an empire of a company. He has always had eyes for Polly and one night at his brother’s wedding they finally give in to he connection they feel, but when he wakes up. She’s gone.

Polly has just recently opened up a new dress shop in town and one day after Jake and Ryan help her get everything settled she agrees to a date with the man she ran from, Ryan Wild.

Let me tell you… this book was literally the cutest. From the father/son moments with Jake and Ryan, to the trips to Paris, and obviously the quiet moments between Polly and Ryan. I am obsessed. ( and let’s not forget the added suspense element that was so good)

4 Pretty woman stars!!

Welcome back to Bitterroot, small town Montana. In this instalment we meet Ryan, as well as being insanely hot he is also filthy rich, which is always a plus for me.

Polly is the spunky owner of a clothes boutique in town and part of the Bitterroot girl posse. The night of Erin and Remingtons wedding (book 1) Ryan and Polly spend a HOT night together, miss-communication has them not talking much for over a year after that one night.

This book gave me Pretty Woman vibes (without the prostitution). Polly is used to working hard for everything she has and finds it hard to get used to Ryans wealth, the more he buys her the more she feels uncomfortable.

Even when a special surprise comes about, she thinks he will think she trapped him. This attitude did start to get to me after a while but didn't take away from the overall story.

I liked this one but not as much as Chasing Wild, I look forward to reading the next one when it comes out.

Well looky here! I knew Ryan Wilde, the billionaire cowboy would be my complete undoing. There’s certain things he did that made me SWOON. Also, how he was with Jake..yeah I’m going to need a time jump into Jake’s love story- please and thank you!

This book had everything I love!

Acts of service.
Dominance at its finest.
A strong independent heroine, Polly, that also knew when to relinquish to Ryan.
A Paris getaway and SHOPPING!
An amazing side story with the adopted son, Jake.

Am I missing anything? The next story will be amazing as well. Single mom and the Rodeo Cowboy. Yes, please!

I’ve been really enjoying this series on audio and this is my new fave! Found family is one of my other faves and the relationship between Ryan and his foster son, Jake was sooo cute. His relationship with Polly was also adorable and I loved this couple so much. Maxine Mitchell and Jason Clarke were the perfect combination to bring this story to life.

“You are every wildest dream I’ve ever had come true. As long as we’re together, we’ll figure everything else out.”

First Impressions
Wildest Dreams is the most recent release in the Wilds of Montana series, its book three in the series and this is where we finally got Ryan Wild's book. Ryan is the Wild sibling that left for a time, built his fortune and then returns home and not everyone is super thrilled and especially his family not trusting that he will stay. If you have read previous books in the series, then having his book written will mean big things for you. I really was impressed with how this story was written, and just like in the previous two books, it was charming and endearing and so atmospheric for the wilds of Montana. It has the perfect blend of country, western and small town mixed in with some great single dad moments.

First Line
Her thick, red, fucking amazing hair is like silk between my fingers where my hand is fisted at the nape of her neck as I plunder her luscious mouth.

The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Ryan Wild
The Heroine: Polly

God, he can make my heart stutter with just a couple of words. With just a look...a simple touch.

Summary
Wildest Dreams begins with a one night affair after a family wedding which is where Polly and Ryan just let go of their reservations and share a passionate night together. But when Polly just leaves with no word, there is no mention of that night for months. But when they are in a situation where they will work together for a time, the secrets and truths are laid bare with each other, and they begin to start something fresh with each other. Polly runs a fashion store for women, and Ryan runs a ranch and company where he literally makes billions and is fostering a young teen. They both have very busy lives, but find common ground with each other and eventually.....a love worth fighting for.

What I Loved
Wildest Dreams had all the heart and swoons that you can expect from this author. Something I have always respected from Proby is how much depth of emotion she will make you feel within her stories. And while it didn't necessarily get to a love of a five star read or even a six star read, it still turned out to be a solid romance that made me weak in the knees and left me breathless from beginning to end. Ryan Wild is the brother I wanted the story for so badly. He is beyond sexy, has more money than midas, but also has a heart and keeps himself hidden and has a aura of mystery surrounding him. Then we have Polly, who is strong and independent but she has had to be. She protects herself and wants to make her own way and she has to learn what loving someone and learning to trust in someone truly means.

“I like it here, dad. Still getting used to saying that”
“still getting sed to hearing it.” I grin at him
“but damn if I don’t like it”

Ryan and Polly grow in some beautiful ways throughout the story. This is also a story of learning to let someone love you unconditionally even if it puts you in situations you aren't used to and learning to let go of that control. There are many swoony moments and seeing how much these two care for each other in different ways beyond endearing. We also see a beautiful father son relationship that forms and seeing these three form a family together. Polly I learned to really love especially in how much she is willing to sacrifice for her boys and let go of her own needs and wants for them. We see a beautiful group of chapters where Ryan takes Polly on her dream vacation in Paris for fashion week. And we see some family connections being healed that have been struggling in the past books.

“You’ve spoiled me rotten this week. “
“that was the goal....”

What I Struggled With
So there was some references to some feminist ideals that just was a bit cringe at times. This book would have been a five star if those hadn't been mentioned in this story. It felt a bit preachy that women have it so badly when in reality both men and women have it bad for different things. Also the heroine was a bit annoying in her independence, it came off a bit too strong at times and seemed to be so consumed with it that she neglected everything else.

Narration
I mostly read this in audio format and I really love this duo narration team. They do such a good job with Proby's work and it really came out in the portrayal of the depth of character building.

Overall View
Wildest Dreams is a book that will literally make you swoon from beginning to end. Its a story of healing, growth, laughter and embracing love when it hits you...

⭐️ 1.5/5
🌶️ 2/5

Tropes:
- Billionaire Romance
- Small Town Romance
- Single Dad

Notes:
I am writing this portion of the review at the 50% mark because I cannot get over how cringey the whole book is. All the dialogue sounds so fake and there is no chemistry between the Ryan and Polly as of now. The whole women's collective sound so fake and like be for real for a second it's just a clothing shop. Ryan be like I want an invitation to Paris fashion week and to kick Anna Wintour out of her suite?! Like hello??

Okay this portion is at the end of the book now... I really thought it would get better but I was wrong. There was no chemistry between the characters and he basically just love bombed her (kinda). It felt weird. And then she just gets hit by a car. I know they didn't want a third act breakup but there was no build up to that.

Pure brilliance from cover to cover. Wildest Dreams by Kristen Proby starts with a bang (literally) and goes from zero to sixty in the span of a prologue that will leave you sweating, panting, and searching for your significant other or B.O.B. And she just never takes her foot off the gas. Ryan Wild has everything money can buy except his older brother and the one girl he can’t get off his mind. Polly has had a crush on her older brother’s best friend for as long as she can remember and their one night together was everything she ever dreamed…until neither hears from the other for a year. Untangling their mixed messages, they realize they are in it together. Watching Ryan bond with his adopted son, Jake, really builds that depth of character and makes Ryan more relatable than the billionaire cowboy that he is. And I loved watching him spoil Polly with more than she thinks she deserves. The amount of research and detail that went into recreating Fashion Week in Paris is nothing short of brilliant and really makes the reader feel like they are there. This is a wholly complete and brilliant addition to the Wilds of Montana series. And don’t get me started on that sneak peek of what comes next. I don’t know how she does it but every time I think the next one can’t possibly be as good, Kristen Proby stops what she’s doing and says “challenge accepted”.

I half-listened, half-read this book and thought it was equally as brilliant in both formats. Jason Clarke and Maxine Mitchell are amazing as Ryan and Polly and really bring this story to life!

Honestly, their relationship happened so fast I was bored shitless. No suspense or lead up with sexual tension.
There was no real complication, I thought maybe Melissa might pose a problem after the note, but nothing? Who was sending the notes? Was it the psycho ex or what?
Very confused.
I liked the first two books, and the next one looks promising. This one was just a little bit of a let done for me personally.

I liked Ryan, Polly, and even Jake. But this book was SO boring 😫 they got together right away so the majority of the book was just them going on dates and it was a total snooze fest. At the very end there was a little action but was so clearly obvious what was going to happen. I loved books 1 and 2 but not this one.

In a perfect world, I’d live on a ranch and have a man like Ryan Wild. This man… swoon. 🫠😍 All the books in this series are quick and to the point but sometimes that’s nice. I loved the new family dynamics with Jake and Ryan and now Poppy. This book was wrapped up with a little bow and was a exactly what I needed right now.

Wildest Dreams by Kristen Proby

💙Single dad
💙Billionaire
💙Dual pov
💙Small town Romance
💙Best friends sister
💙Opposites Attract

Billionaire, Ryan Wild is back in his hometown and bought a huge ranch, tending to horses. He helps Jake, who's a foster kid. He brings him to the ranch to help with the horses and winds up adopting him. He sees the turmoil Jake went through and wanted nothing more than to make a happy and safe home for him.

In comes Polly, fashionista and boss babe, owns Pocket Full of Polly clothing store. Ryan and Polly have a great night together, but she runs out before he wakes up. Time goes by, and he wants to date her for real, spoil her, and give her the life she's always wanted, but.... there's secrets lurking.

Can they make it work, or will their secrets tear them apart?

I love this small town series. The wild men are obsessed and down bad, and I'm here for it. Thank you to Kristen and Valentine PR for this wonderful arc! I can't wait for the rest of the series.

✨ Audio Review ✨
Ryan Wild is swoony cowboy billionaire perfection. Wildest Dreams by Kristen Proby was a heartfelt and steamy small-town romance that did deliciously good things to my heart. I couldn’t get enough of Polly and Ryan’s love story, and I couldn’t stop smiling, blushing, and swooning throughout this entire audiobook. Each Wild’s love story gets better and better.

Maxine Mitchell and Jason Clarke perform this audiobook in dual narration, and this pairing never lets me down. Maxine fully encompassed Polly’s mixed emotions, passions, and desires in her performance leaving me in awe of her dedication to her work and newfound love for Ryan. Jason’s deep, growly tone exuded the perfect amount of protectiveness and love Ryan had for his family and Polly. Plus, the chemistry between Polly and Ryan is HOT and undeniable right from the start, and you could feel all the longing, tension, and want in their performances.

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a small-town romance with a hot cowboy billionaire, a redheaded devoted small business owner, Chanel, Montana mansions and ranches, loyal-loving families, surprise trips to Paris, a hard-working teenaged son, rooftop telescopes, all the steamy times, added suspense, surprises and a HEA that will live in your wildest dreams then you will love Polly and Ryan’s romance. I always look forward to more from Kristen Proby.

This follows Polly, owner of a small-town boutique in Montana, who loves fashion and has a big heart. The MMC Ryan Wild is her brother’s best friend, a billionaire, very handsome and protective. Ryan walked into her life after a magical night celebrating a wedding. But it has been several months and they don't know where each other stands. That’s until he walks into the shop and asks why I have been avoiding him. But I haven't, have I?

This was a feel-good story. I loved Polly and Ryan together with Jake his son who is sixteen. Jake’s storyline was tough but beautiful to read. Reading how much Ryan has done for him, to get his life back on track and feel what real love and family are like made my heart swell. This man will do anything for the people he loves. The chemistry and intimate moments were beautiful. The audiobook narration is brilliant by Maxine and Jason, some of my top audiobook narrators hands down. That was my first Kristen book and I know it won't be my last.

Loving this series from Kristen! After getting to know a little about Ryan and Polly in previous books, I was so excited that these two finally get together and we get their story! They finally hook up after his brother’s wedding, but then the next morning when he thinks it is going to be the start of their relationship, he finds that she’s gone. After a little bit of time and the realization that Ryan isn’t going anywhere and is a great guy, she finally gives the relationship a chance and the chemistry between these two is so great. I love that they also include his newly adopted son and his feelings in the matter of them getting together and spending more time together. In true Kristen fashion, I also love the level of suspense throughout every story, and this book did not disappoint in the drama and suspense aspect that kept me guessing until the very end! I can’t wait for the next Wild to fall in love and the next book to read in one sitting (per usual with any book Kristen releases)!

Narration 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧

This book was interesting where the couple got together pretty much immediately, and while I’ve seen this in other books as a one night stand where the characters didn’t intend to see each other again but circumstances made them come together again, with this one, they were already close. She’s his brother’s best friend and they’ve been pinning over each other for years, so neither really wanted it to be a one and done. Their chemistry was fire from the very beginning and their flirting was so cute. It was interesting to see outside elements really affect a relationship and when two people want to be together, they’ll make it happen, even if they’re pretty opposite.

Jason and Maxine did such a stunning job on this narration. These two are absolute pros and a couple of my favorite narrators!

Thank you Kristen Proby for the ALC in exchange for an honest review.

This is number three in The Wilds of Montana series and can be read as a standalone. I think I loved the characters so much more because I’ve read the series in order. Kristen is magical and her characters are so well written AND remain intriguing through the entire story!

The narrators, Jason Clarke & Maxine Mitchell did an amazing job with this one! I loved the dual POV and dual narration. I’m so lucky to have gotten a chance to listen to this one!

Ryan Wild and Polly’s relationship is perfection! Ryan is such an incredible human being. His obsession for Polly is dreamy and his fathering to his adoptive son, Jake is adorable. Add billionaire cowboy in there and that’s where you find the perfection. 😍 I told you Kristen knows how to write her characters!

One thing I LOVED about this book was the little bit of mystery aspect that was thrown into it. I get excited for ‘whodunnit’ plots when they’re thrown into romance books. Kristen represented this so well because it didn’t overshadow the building story of Ryan and Polly. As the book developed, the mystery aspect grew a little bit more until everything was brought to a head. I just had so much fun listening.

Add 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘴 to the list of books that I read in one sitting. It is such an easy listen! I highly recommend grabbing yours today…and if you can start from the beginning of the series, I recommend doing that too!

“Now, you tell me why you’re here.”
“Because staying away from you isn’t an option.”

Since Chasing Wild, I was in pins and needles awaiting his story. Kristen Proby did not disappoint. Seeing Ryan as sexy single dad had me gooooone!!

Oh holy mother of SWOON.
Ryan Wild did not come to play. He was a man on a mission. He wanted him much more than just a pocket full of Polly and he was willing to do any and everything to call her heart his. He and Jake’s relationship was absolutely beautiful. Their bond was so touching. I just lived for their moments together.
Also, is it too early for a Jake story request??

Polly just had such an amazing and fiery spirit. She was very much an independent woman and demanded that part of her be respected. I loved how incredibly thoughtful and compassionate she was. The way she always included Jake and had his best interest at heart was just so heartwarmingly sweet. I loved having another person shower Jake with all the love he deserved.

The chemistry between Ryan and Polly was combustible and undeniable. It made for some incredible steamy times. I just ate these two up! The Paris fly out will forever live in my heart cause everything about that made my heart soar! It’s him moving mountains to make all her dreams come true for me! What a man, what a man, what a mighty good man! Dreamy is an absolute understatement!!

Getting to spend time with more of the Wild family is always a good time. I love their camaraderie, fighting, fun, laughter and love. Kristen also threw a little twist that left me absolutely giddy!!

Oh my, then two of my favorites on the audio?? Hello, I was truly in heaven. Jason Clarke and Maxine Mitchell were exceptional. The perfect Ryan and Polly. I loved every single second of this listen.

Great small town read! Polly and Ryan were adorable, but the star of the show was Jake and Ryan's building relationship as father/son. There were numerous conversations that had me tearing up. Jake has one POV in this book and that was absolute perfection.

My favorite part of this whole story is 100% Ryan and Jake’s relationship! This duo is absolutely adorable!! Their breakfasts, him calling Ryan ‘dad’, naming the ranch, the tableeee.. my heart 🥹 they were just everything!!

But of course, Ryan and Polly I loved too!!! I absolutely eat it up when the mmc is obsessed with the fmc from the beginning, and he thinks she doesn’t like him.. Ryan didn’t know what to do with Polly after she left in the middle of the night, and I loved that he pined after her!

These Wild men keep getting better and better, I didn’t think that was possible but it is! He spoileddddd her, and she deserved every little bit of it!!

I can’t wait for more 🫶🏼 the crumbs we’ve been given so far have me readyyyyyyy

Polly spent the best night of her life with Ryan. She understood it was a one-time thing and didn't expect more from him. He is navigating life as a single dad to a teenager, and she is sure he is also not interested in a new relationship with her. She is unwilling to try for more with him and have him reject her no matter how much she thinks about him.

Ryan is a man who goes for what he wants. After finally having Polly in his arms, he is unwilling to let her go. He devises a game plan. First, he will get Polly to agree to be with him, and once it gets serious, he will let Jake know. The teenage boy is Ryan's priority, but he wants Polly to join their small family. Ryan begins to show Polly that he doesn't want just a one-night stand with her but forever.

ARC REVIEW

What to expect:
Brothers Best Friend
Single dad
Suspense
Small town
Billionaire
One night stand

From the beginning I’ve been anticipating Ryan’s story and this didn’t disappoint. Single dad (by adoption), billionaire rancher? Say less.

Ryan is literally the ultimate book boyfriend. He is such a golden retriever green flag but he is also sassy. He is really the “if he wanted to he would”.

Polly and her shop was the sweetest thing. She has such a hard work ethic, and really wants to do things for herself ( love me a strong queen) Watching the her dream of a store come together with the help
Of all the town members is truly so small town I don’t think that could get any better.

Add the splash of suspense, travel to Paris, father son moments, fashion and horse references. This was pretty much the total package of everything you’d want in small town!
