You often find yourself indulging in something you normally wouldn’t outside of your own life. Would she have been particularly fond of breadfruit had she not been in the forest? There’s mention of how many of the long time employees there never cared for it.
Or how she was never really interested in crisps or crackers until she worked at the factory.
I know that from my personal experience I’ve found things like that to latch on to. Going to lunch at a local canteen, even though it’s expensive but making it a routine thing. (less)
