Does anyone else think that the description of this book is an enormous spoiler? While reading the book it felt like one of the big mysteries being set up in the book was answered in this description. I really think I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't know the answers to the questions faced by the characters in the first two-thirds of the book.

Sheherazahde I have problems with the "game" as well. Not just that there is no real game play. But their are contradictory descriptions. If the game was tailored …moreI have problems with the "game" as well. Not just that there is no real game play. But their are contradictory descriptions. If the game was tailored to each player it should be a single player game with no interaction with other users. But he clearly states that he can tell when other characters are other users not just NPCs.

And there is no reason for it to be MUD. If the goal is to bring each player along to particular conclusion then it is better if they play with just NPCs.

Also, why does anyone think the culture of the people in the game is "superior" to human culture? I saw no evidence of cultural superiority in the game we saw. (less)
