Something I didn't like about The Magicians was the overuse of swear words -- they were so frequent that they almost outnumbered normal words. Is this book written in the same style?

As much as I love the Arthurian legends, I couldn't finish The Magicians. I get that it's a matter of taste, but if I didn't like the first book of the trilogy and never bothered with books 2 and 3, is it likely I'll find something equally off-putting in this?
