What's the target audience for this novel?
Loading... Any one could like it, but I would judging by the odd (and sometimes random) plot twists, along with the type of humor, that it was meant for 11-14. That doesn't mean that you wouldn't like it if you weren't in that range. Overall, I thought the book was meant for a bit younger than young adult, or at least in the younger area of young adult.(less)

Since Jasper Fforde is coming to my city Brisbane in September 2019, I may ask him what he thought of the TV version, him being a former cameraman. Bye!(less)

I seem to have two different versions of the book. The e-book and paperback in Polish translation. E-book has, as a characteristic moment, Full Price driving the car hands-off. The paperback has him... turn into a walrus, in backseat, and Jennifer driving. Friend tracked down that on Amazon you can get UK version like the e-book I have and US version like my paperback. So, what's going on here?
Srebrna E-book is in English, to be precise.

I'm older than you (46), but I'm a Fforde fan, too-- except that I'm woman enough to admit that the later Thursdays weakened (in my humble opinion), and that Grey was kinda 'meh.' This book, so far, shoots me right back to the vivacity of the original Thursday. It's a breath of fresh air, so far.(less)
