Steven P. Aitchison The fiction book I am working on just now has evolved over the last 8 years :) however, it came from my practice of lucid dreaming and attempts at astral projection back in the early 2000s.
Steven P. Aitchison She slowly opened the door to her bedroom. With eyes wide and an open mouth, she knew her life would forever be devoid of hope again.
Steven P. Aitchison Literally everywhere: a scene in a movie, a quote I see on Facebook, a conversation with a friend, watching people walking about. The thing about inspiration is not receiving inspiration it's about being open to receiving inspiration. If you're constantly in a state of being open to it you will have a constant stream of inspiration to last you a lifetime.
Steven P. Aitchison I've just finished a non fiction book called The Belief Principle and the marketing for that will probably keep me going for the next 2-3 years, but I am also working on a fiction series. Steven P. Aitchison Honestly, the best advice for a writer is to write, write as quickly as possible and get all that garbage out of your head until you can't write any more. Then, when you have poured all that garbage out onto the screen, then it's time to find the gold in the trash i.e. your second draft.
Steven P. Aitchison The best thing about being a writer is the freedom to live in a world that nobody knows about yet and the hope that you will take some people on an exciting journey.
Steven P. Aitchison You don't get plumbers having plumbers block, actually you do but their job is to fix that, but you get what I mean. Writers block doesn't exist, but what does exist is a lack of inspiration and hope, find that and you'll never stop writing.
