I do a few things. One is I hang out outside at a cafe or a bar, have a few drinks and people watch. Second, stick Pandora in my ears and listen to soundscapes and just zen out. Third, if I'm feeling epic, I'll turn on upbeat music. Fourth - The Tudors. That series does it every time for me.

Just write. And keep writing. Don't worry about anything but getting it all down on paper and then inhale, exhale. Ask fellow Indy authors for help, we don't all bite and will be happy to help.

I can express myself in a multitude of ways. I can introduce new idea's or views on issues in a medium that is acceptable as it is me "character's struggle." I love to write, it's in my DNA. If I didn't write, all of these people in my head would really get angry!!
