About this ebook
There are Love Letters, but they capture only the feelings we have in the present. What about the ones we've loved but no longer do? What about the loves that have slipped away with time, distance, or circumstance—those that have faded or ended, leaving only memories and fragments behind?
Loved Letters is a compilation of short stories that delve into the lives of those we once held dear. Each tale explores the echoes of love that remain long after it's gone, capturing the essence of past relationships—whether they were fleeting or lasting, joyful or painful. Through these stories, we explore the lingering feelings, the lessons learned, and the unresolved emotions that come with loving someone who is no longer in our lives. These are not love letters written in the heat of passion but rather reflections on love's quiet aftermath—the bittersweet recollections of those who shaped us and left an imprint on our hearts, even as they disappeared from our everyday existence.
In Loved Letters, we give voice to the complexities of love and loss, from the nostalgia of what was to the acceptance of what is no longer. It's an exploration of how past loves continue to influence us, how they remain written in the margins of our lives, even when the pages have turned.

The First Kiss
Dear Little Boy in First Grade
I don't remember your name. I don't even know if I ever knew it. But, I have been lonely for you ever since you kissed me on the lips when we were at school. You do come across my mind even today when I am an adult sometimes. I don't know why but, you do. Funny the things we remember.
I was just putting my coat on the hook with the other children in the cloakroom just before the school bell rang to begin the school day. I remember what I was wearing that day. I loved that little dress which had red, white, and blue polka dots all over it. I don't know if that is the reason I remember that dress or the kiss that made me remember.
You walked up to me and without saying a word, kissed my lips. You were my first kiss from a boy. I didn't have time to respond back to you about what had happened. I had to rush to my desk to begin the school day with the other kids. We weren't allowed to be tardy.
Even at that young age of only six years old, I remember that your lips even though they touched mine only for a second were soft feeling and felt warm. It left a lasting impression on me. My mind kept wondering then if you loved me. You must have. You never said a word to me. I didn't know quite what to think.
I wonder
