    Preface

Over the millennia, every aspect of the yogic universe has already had the opportunity to be extensively dissected by human thought, dressing itself in infinite colours, all different from each other, capable of giving rise to different paths and lives. Yoga has always been widely used to create patterns, expectations, results and ipse dixits, which continually attribute hypothetical supremacies to it and, in doing so, disperse its most intimate essence, depleting it of its most intrinsic potential, that is, the ability to fill, through an immense palette of shades, the gaps in our sadly monochromatic earthly existence.

This small writing was born from the desire to try to restore the original splendor to the colors of our lives, through simple gestures and wonderful moments of practice, always based on the same minimum common denominator, that is, representing the first steps of a ladder which can be glimpsed the beginning, but not the end. Nothing definitive, therefore, and nothing certain, but, every day, these extraordinary tools can communicate with us and with our world, to allow us, precisely, to discover, to search, to take note and to leave.

Each Mudra is characterized by some of its intrinsic peculiar truths, but the different facets that compose it alternate with our vision and our understanding, asking to be experienced not only as ancient structures, but also absolutely modern, real, yet with a background of unreality, in a perennial alternation of balances and imbalances.

Practice with attention, curiosity and lightness, always compare yourself with yourself and with the reality of which you are part, so that the authenticity of yoga can dye, with the colors of serenity, the path of your life and the path of the world, to to underline, once again, the absolute strength of the root union. Happy reading and happy travels.

    Marco Fasanotti

Having gone through multiple sporting activity experiences, first as a competitor and then as an instructor, over the last twenty years he has found his definitive position as a teacher trainer in the field of Yoga and Pilates, leading, in 2008, to the creation of the Tao Center , in Biella, where he continues to put his experience at the service of the idea that movement is a correct way to maintain active health and well-being for as long as possible. His aptitude for study and experimentation leads him to deepen the knowledge accumulated over time, to make constantly updated tools available to the public that can be concretized into formulas suited to the needs of a varied clientele, by type and age group, who are looking for physical activity is a means to regain freedom of movement and quality of life.

His specializations, achieved in the fields of fitness, yoga, Chinese and Japanese wellness arts and postural gymnastics, the experience gained on himself and that achieved thanks to continuous relationships with his students and pupils, allow him to have a complete vision of how the individual can manage movement, in relation to his history and the physical and mental state in which he finds himself, making his approach attentive to nuances and constantly aimed at reading everyone's movement patterns, in order to be able to best support those who struggle to find the way to free their movement on their own.

Marco's yoga encompasses every single aspect of this life dedicated to the search for the path to well-being and the perennial attempt to show it.

    prologue

Maya is the illusion that the world is as it is perceived through our senses: sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell; it is the apparent reality of a material world that uses deities, energy, chakras, muses and gurus to guide us towards Madhu, the darkness.

Ancestral Deva, originating together with Brahmā, from primordial chaos, Madhu, the darkness and Brahma, the light, are described in the most ancient part of Vedanta in a continuous and endless struggle,
