About this ebook
This book has been made with the sole purpose of providing knowledge for those professional or amateur breeders around the world who are passionate about the impressive world of quail farming. In the same way, the material will provide the reader with a large amount of important information that will be necessary when expanding your breeding or simply starting as a breeder. All this has been elaborated mainly thanks to my experience in the area and, of course, to the review of specialized technical materials as a means of support.

The japonica coturnix or quail is an extremely profitable bird, so much so that every day more countries and people are taking part in this wonderful activity. This type of bird comes from Japan and is classified as gallinaceae, thus, ( Lucotte G. ) Page 7 maintains that ...it was introduced in the USA in 1955, a little later in Italy and then throughout Europe...
The physiological advantages of this animal are considered, among others: the precocity of its laying, its high percentage of fertility, its rapid growth and its great resistance to diseases.
From all aspects, the quail represents a huge economic flow, the capital investment is not high and leaves a lot of profitability. If we look at it from the conversion and compared to other larger birds, it is extremely economical since we do not need a large amount of food for its maintenance, likewise, its eggs offer us a wide variety of benefits such as the low percentage in the levels of cholesterol. Finally, we can mention the exquisiteness of its meat and the nutrients provided in the various dishes offered by many restaurants around the world.
