Olark the brave
Long long ago in the faraway kingdom of Gilliad, there lived a mighty warrior named Olark. He was always helping his people and doing great deeds such as fighting dragons and saving fair maidens.
One stormy day, he was travelling through the enchanted forest going to the south of the kingdom to fight an evil dragon when his ears became attuned to the sweetest singing he had ever heard.
He dismounted from his horse and tiptoed to the edge of a beautiful bower where he saw a quaint house and the singing was coming from this house.
In those days, it was forbidden for humans to communicate with the fey people, but he couldn’t help himself. He tried to tiptoe closer to this house but his heavy armor was clanking and making so much noise it sounded deafening in the quiet of the forest.
Suddenly, the singing stopped and the door opened. Olark laid his eyes on the most beautiful person he had ever seen.
