Alcoholism and Drug Abuse
The moral depravity; Alcoholism and Drugs, Tackling it from the Legal perspective.
Alcoholism and drug addiction are classified as victimless crimes. Despite being the primary or one of the Major causes of crimes, in the society especially in present days. It's not hard to notice that most of the crimes committed are done with the sudbof drugs. If the substance isn't the propelling factor, it acts as a sort of confidence boost to help the offenders carry out the crime. Why then is the use of these drugs classified as victimless. It is because the users themselves, from a legal standpoint are the primary victoms. The secondary victims are the society at large.
Police record shows a relationship between crimes and drugs. Different school of thought have given their opinion about drug users.Some believe they were psychopaths before and the use of drugs have little or nothing to do with it. Others, believe it to be fallacy to refer to drug as an excuse because certain drugs makes them calmer and cowards. Crimes are aided by various factors. Negligence of their parents, social media influence, environment, peer pressure and other reasons.
