About this ebook
My book Poems was written and so titled because there was no other title deemed to be more appropriate than Poems. Poems means an arrangement of words written or spoken, and I want my words to arrange someone's lifestyle with hope and encouragement. My writings envelope many different manners of people's emotions, and it seemed appropriate to not give it another name. How can this book help you? Males and females who are struggling and trying to find some meaning in their lives or dealing with the cares of this world need something to hold onto and give them hope. It is also for those who love to read.

Life’s Door
Your life is like a door
You can open less or open more
In order to open the door to success
You must know and pass the test
The door to success is quite hard
But in the end, it’s worth the reward.
The door to life is like a book
It depends on the page you took
Your story can be read as success
Or you can scan it and end up in a mess
This book can be very heavy or light
No matter where you set your sight.
The door to life can be ajar
You can enter in and go far
Just a small space is all you need
To do nothing or make life succeed
Or you can go to the door and peek
Not knowing for what you seek.
The door to life can be opened in a rush
And all your dreams can be crushed
To make your life a success
You really have to do your best
No one can ask for more
When you have entered the success door.
The door to life can be opened wide
And in it, you cannot hide
You will have many choices to make
It depends on the road you take
These roads can be full of trouble
With your life ending in a rubble.
Take the opportunity door when it knocks
And you will have the key that unlocks
All the other doors that lead to achieve
All its rewards for you to receive
Life’s door can only be opened by you
Now that you know, what are you going to do?
The Blood
Though our sins are like scarlet, they can be as white as snow
Because the blood of Jesus is powerful, I know.
Jesus is the one who bore our sins
So that man may live again.
No one could have done what he did.
He took away sins that were opened and hid.
He went to the cross like a lamb to the slaughter
Saving every father, mother, son, and daughter.
He shed his blood at Calvary
So that man would be set free.
The blood flowed down mountains and into valleys.
It went across rivers and into galleys.
The powerful blood reached every sinful soul
That it washed away
