    Strawberry Sauce

    This tasty sauce adds a burst of energy to your breakfast dishes.

    serves 4

    Ingredients

    1 lb fresh strawberries

    1 c milk

    1–3 tsp sugar

    1 tsp cornstarch for thickener

    Method

    Steam strawberries 4–5 minutes. Allow to cool.

    Add strawberries to a blender with milk, sugar, and cornstarch. Puree.

    Pour mixture into a pan and stir on low heat 5–10 minutes.

    Pancakes

    This perennial favorite will start your day off right.

    Ingredients

    Basic ingredients:

    1 lb white flour

    2 eggs

    1 c milk

    1 tbsp soft butter

    1 tbsp sugar or honey

    1 tsp baking powder

    1 pinch salt
