The Jewels of Darkness - Mary Elizabeth OCDS
Foreword
This is a beautiful book. Like precious jewels these poems shine and sparkle and are a real ‘sursum corda’ to the spirit…a source of healing and inspiration to people of all classes on their journey through life. This is a book that soothes the mind, gives joy to the soul and enriches the spirit based as they are on Faith and Truth. A rich legacy that comes from an intimate blending of learning and life.
A beautiful book.

Introduction
I write this introduction in Lourdes, this great place of love and healing, where the presence of Our Lady and Our Lord is tangible in the atmosphere, the Masses, the prayers and in the pilgrims whose love and compassion for one another reveals Jesus and His Beloved Mother working amongst us.

These reflections came before, after prayer or independently. I just had to
