FOREWORD
The bible has so many books but the one book that I’ve related to has been Psalms. I believe David expresses so many valid emotions. Psalms inspired me to express and release some of my intimate moments and I’m ok with that because just like David. I’ve been forgiven. It’s amazing I’ve been writing poetry for years, since 1996 but I’m refusing to bring any of that time into play… it all makes for a good read. I might go backwards in my next release. I’d like to begin this one with a subtle boom. Of course, names will never be mentioned, the dialogue’s paraphrased and although my poetry can stem from a simple topic I will try to stay on course and end with my present journey.
Dialogue came to me as I try to decide what to call my poetry book. I started the first chapter and I heard it in my head. Tete-A- Tete, came shortly after… approximately thirteen chapters in … it’s a French word that means private conversation, face to face. My computer throws out random words and their meanings. One day as I was waking up… Tete-A-Tete was staring at me. That was a God move so I took it. There is this thing me and my friends do…we come together for Table Time and we talk without limits, about anything and we enjoy one another with no negative vibes. Bottom line. It’s a missing art. There are plenty of people who love to talk, who love the attention and who’ll stop at nothing to carry on a decent conversation… The Art of Communicating, where is it headed? We text, we post on Instagram, we Facebook, we even Facetime. We barely pick up the telephone to talk and have a heart to heart anymore. It’s the new science of the world …Technology… What we refuse to do is have a real face to face dialogue. Is it possible to go back and forth without cutting one another off? Or are we so busy on the next thought we really aren’t listening, either that or the other person is too busy checking their phone and really not listening at all… I want a real dialogue where one receives and the other one delivers and once the message has been delivered the receiver responds… Dialogue is headed to a bottomless pit the same place they tried to put the idea of Christ… he was crucifix for speaking God’s truth… Society
is ruining most of our lives… the systems of our world has come up with ways to take God out of everything. Our schools have succeeded… Our court system enforces God’s word and yet they’ve found loopholes on the use of the word God… I’ve had several dialogue with people and as private
