About this ebook
In my life, I have wrestled with my thoughts to understand love. I now realize there are different levels of such and that no two loves are the same. These volumes of poetry are a reflection of what I feel and experience when I close my eyes and think of love, poems reflecting one woman that I may have loved and lost or even one woman that I had

The Different Levels of Love, Volume 1 - David Wright
Growing together
We both sacrifice to gain, and learn life’s lessons as we go
Even though times may get rough it is
by your side I choose to grow.
Never can I predict the future or
what will come down from above.
We planted this seed years ago and it has blossomed into love!
No matter what has come our way not one minute of regret
Have I ever felt because I knew
you’re the prize that I would get.
At the end of every day I drop down and thank my God
For blessing my life with you
Because without you it be too hard.
Our journey has been for many years,
I pray it lasts for many more.
The fact I love you is one thing certain
and two things that are for sure.
Over these many years the level of love that we both have felt
Is the reason I wouldn’t want to share my life
with anybody else!
For someone to love me
I have been looking for a love, honest, humble, ready! Ready for more than just being ready. Ready to fight when it’s not going the way we expect. For someone to love me. I will do anything but lose myself. By anything I mean, cherish, honor, be truthful to, respect and anything else to make you happy. I definitely expect, so I know I will be delivered one day. For someone to love me, I must first love myself! I will concentrate on that and let my love find me!
Age
You are better, not worse and let no one tell you different. I respect your many sacrifices. As a youth you moved swiftly to any demand and met it with strength to match the speed. Now you don’t move as quickly, but slow you’re not just calculated. Your body understands that to rush one may miss; it is better to take your time. Decades back you could come up with any answer as quick as the question was asked. Now it takes a minute to organize and collect—to prepare to respond. Not because you have lost a step, no. Because your well of knowledge you draw from is so deep that the journey to the answer cannot be rushed. You don’t drive anymore not because you can’t but because Royalty must be chauffeured, it would only be fitting. So let your present number of days you’ve been present not be a source of frustration or worry. It is your badge your statement, your theme song! Your AGE.
I don’t know
What I would do
