      Introduction

      This is not a poetry book, nor a book of prose. I’m not sure what to call this book other than an indulgence of feelings, moments and people from my life.

      It is of no chance encounter that you have brushed through the very pages that represent my innermost self. You may have stumbled across the black ink that paints these pages and although I do not know who you are, by reading this - by these simple moments of introspection our lives have reached a point of intersection.

      By the length of these sentences, we meet here. 

      This book is the unmistakable sound of words fighting for release. It’s the sound of hope; of heartbreak, of happiness, of contentment, of knowing that whatever you’re going through you are not alone. This book is a shake, a throttle, a way to break the dust loose and pull out the concreted words that have held me for so long.

      Through these pages, I hope you find comfort, passion and inspiration.

      Through these pages I hope you find a companion to cry with and a confidant to meet in silence by the ocean or the fire. Share
