      Hi, I’m Troy, and I live with my big brother, Fred, my puppy, Bob, and my Mum and Dad. The reason I’m writing this book is to scribble down the whole week in my notebook and see how it goes. Anyway, happy new year! I’m so excited about the things that are going to happen this year! Mark my words, last year was absolutely TERRIBLE, so this year I’m thinking it can change. I am of course not writing this as an essay, so I’ll try to keep everyday short so reading this can be done way quicker.

      Unfortunately, on New Year’s Day, my mother finds it sociable to knock on our neighbour’s doors and greet them with a ‘Happy New Year!’ and nothing else. Plus, I don’t feel that it's social greeting the same people on our street. But
