17 Poems for Jesus
()
About this ebook
I attempted to write some verses on how I love Jesus
But it turned out to be more about how Jesus loves me
Through the years
Through my journey
Through my confusion
How Jesus pursues, forgives, saves, loves
See my feeble attempt to love back
My greatest and only true lover for eternity – Jesus!
Rose Garcia Rivera
After decades of being a nominal Christian and at times an unbeliever, the Lord called Rose remarkably. Since then, whileliving in the same Sydney Australia suburb, working a similar 9-5 job and having the same nice family, the Lord has filled her life with previously unimagined joy, peace and blessings.

17 Poems for Jesus - Rose Garcia Rivera
Introduction
What can I offer my Lord, my God? Shall I sing him praises, shall I talk about my intense love? But what do I know about love from myself, when all the passion I may have also comes from him? I am still trying to understand his love - unparalleled, most pure and eternal. If I know even a little bit of his love for me, then I have hope of showing my devotion too.
Shall I try to do good works? Shall I work my hands to the bones trying to win his approval? Shall I give away all material and intangible things I may have as an offering? Or shall I simply sit at his feet and listen, absorb, feel his affection and wisdom?
You know, I wrote a number of poems for my Lord, my Jesus. It is funny, trying to write because I am not a writer, lacking in basic grammar and struggling to be coherent. But I thought I have some lines of adoration I wanted to convey. I may have some words of praise. I may try to say thank you. I may try to relate my awe of his love for me. Yes, I tried to express my affection for him as I learn from him too.
And I feel his presence. And I know that he likes what I write. Far from sophisticated, but it is simply honest - my love for him, in my words, in the best way I can say. Because he is my teacher, he is holding my hand and whispering in my
